These are my favorite hair ties. I have thick long hair and it is hard to find a hair tie to secure my hair. These work perfectly They never damage my hair and they are long enough to wrap around my ponytail. I also like that they fit comfortably around my wrist without cutting off circulation so that I always have an extra one available.

I have thick, mostly straight hair. Normal sized hair ties are simply too small and just don't work. I've tried so many brands and types and these were exactly what I was looking for -- large enough to go around 2-3 times, but with the perfect amount of stretch that they stay in place but hold my hair even during intense exercise. They are a touch big to wear around my wrist as a bracelet, but I still am able to. They don't break easily or stretch out easily after wearing them multiple times. So glad I found these!!

Perfect for thick hair!

My daughter has long, medium-thick hair and it's been difficult to find elastic bands that will keep her ponytail up all day. We usually use two elastic bands to handle this task but the elastic bands eventually stretch out and limp ponytails are my pet peeve! They just look so sloppy and give a "lack of effort" look. The Scunci Thick Hair Black Elastics are bigger in circumference than most elastic bands, when put on your wrist, they are on the loose side. They also don't have much "elastic" which can give users the false idea that they won't hold well. This is actually the contrary! Because the hair bands do not give much give, they actually hold up the hair well! Do the elastic bands stay in their original shapes forever? Of course not, that would be a silly dream! :) But these have worked better than all other elastic bands we've tried in my daughter's lifetime and that makes me a happy mom! I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised, really glad I found these at a great price on Amazon!

I never thought much about hair bands. I've been using Scunci hair bands for about 20 years, possibly longer. I remember when they used to be $1 per a pack. I am a middle-aged man now, and my hair is thinner. I like these "Thick Hair" bands. These bands are stronger and longer. With these bands, I can fold the bands twice when I tie my hair. And I only need 1 or 2 bands. Medium hold bands are shorter, so I can only fold them once - so I have to use 4-5 bands to hold my thin hair. Also, because they are longer, I can carry them around my wrist (temporarily - it's not a good look for a grown man). Medium-hold bands are too small to wear around my wrist. These are good. I shall buy 10 more packs to keep. They always take away (discontinue) products I like, so.

Pretty good product but if you pull to tight too any times it stretches out of shape. Most (but not all) hair elastics do thos but I have had some that don't stretch out of shape so easily. Not a bad purchase but its a good thing I bought a 2 pack because my entire family has long hair and my husband was able to use these larger bands to tie back his dreads. I would still buy these again because of how large they are. Not all bands will hold my mans formidable head of dreads or my sons extremely thick and luxurious head of hair

These are exactly what I was looking for. They are a bit larger than your standard style hair ties as you can see in the photo. They fit on the wrist comfortably without cutting off circulation. They work wonderfully for my thick hair would recommend.!

Ligas muy resistentes...tal vez el único inconveniente que son muy grandes.
