My 4 yr. old grandson is enthralled with this train! The O guage size makes it easier for small kids to align the undercarriage on the tracks. Authentic sounds on the control: whistle, engine, bell and conductor "All Aboard!...This is the Polar Express!" straight from the soundtrack. Adjustable speed both forward and backward on handheld control. The figurines provided look authentic but are a little undersized and fit easily on the last car's platform. The tracks are a little light and may shift under the train in spots if you have it on a carpet. If your child is a fan of the movie I think they'll be very happy with this train.

All figures are there, they are good enough quality that my 6 y/o most likely won’t break them immediately. The faces and details are very poorly painted, and rather disappointing for the price.
