Honestly, this is such a great reel. I’ve used it for everything from small freshwater trout to saltwater surf fishing. So far, I’ve landed three striped bass over 20 inches in the past 23 days with no issues. I’ve even had to rinse it in saltwater when it got covered in sand, and it’s shown no signs of rust. Optimus prime can't hold a candle to this fishing reel. I have this with 15 lb reaction braid and it works fantastic.

After being a fan of Mitchell reels for decades, I've switched to Kast King. The Megatron is awesome and casts beautifully! This is my new favorite reel for half the cost of a Mitchell.
