Really helps calm my damaged hair. I use the CPAP at night which is so hard on your hair! Didn’t notice it for about a year. After that the hair on top of my head was broken off and frizzy looking. Discovered this product and use it twice a week on top and it’s helped quite a bit.

I’ve used this brand so many times before and it always delivers. I love everything they come out with and I will always use this brand.

I took this along on a trip to give myself a nice hair treatment while I was away from home. I followed the directions, but found it really didn't do much for my hair - didn't make my hair any softer or shinier, nor did it cause any damage. It was just kind of there. The main issue I had is it smelled like I had toothpaste in my hair - I expected something more soothing in its scent (maybe like the tea tree oil or a mild minty scent), but this full-on smelled like I had extra-minty Crest in my hair, which was a bit overpowering when I had it in and it lingered after I rinsed it out (I ended up washing my hair again later in the day because the scent was still lingering). So, I didn't like the smell and it didn't do much for my hair.

Love it! My hair was super damaged after heat and color. I was able to get 2 uses out of one thing. My hair was so dry and wouldn’t curl. It’s amazing!

I have medium length hair that's usually dry, coarse and brittle no matter what I do. I've tried nearly every major haircare product out there from the inexpensive drugstore brands to the exotic, and few really make a tremendous difference to my hair, but I'm always willing to try something new in hopes that I'll find that "magic bullet". I have mixed feelings on the product packaging. For me, the small pouch was a generous amount for one use, but not quite enough for two. I feel this ultimately leads to waste since I can't just buy it in a bottle and squeeze out exactly the amount I need. Plus, if you're like me, it's a little difficult to open and manipulate the small pouch when you're wet in the shower. Otherwise, I found the Malibu product in the small pouch to be an ample amount for my hair, but I could see how someone with really long hair might need more. I worked it in and let it stay on my hair as the directions say, then rinsed the nice minty fragranced product out. It rinsed easily and definitely left a cool tingle from the menthol. There were results, just not exactly the ones I had expected. To me, the holy grail is silky soft and manageable hair, but the Malibu product didn't quite give me that. Instead, I felt like my hair was somehow thicker and maybe shinier, but not any softer or smoother. The effect wasn't bad in any way, and it lasted for a few days, well beyond my next shampoo. Overall, I like the Malibu product compared to many I've tried, and I can honestly say that my hair felt better in several dimensions than it did before I used it. I suspect if I used it every few shampoos, I'd come to like it more, but in the fairly expensive single-use packaging, I'm not sure it's for me.
