Yes if you have the spring stab type connector on the amplifier + and -. That is what is on the back of the speakers. You just need to strip back bare wire for the connection. If your amplifier has what they call RC connectors. They are usually Red + white - just plug them in at the amp. Then you only have to strip back a connection at he speakers they too are red + and white -.

can these speakers work with the audio-techica at-lp60 usb turntable

Answering late...for others needing help - you need active speakers to connect directly to the turntable otherwise you will need to connect the turntable & these speakers to an amplifier.

Yes and they come with wall mounting brackets for hanging the speakers on the wall.

what do they sound like listening to music, mostly rock & jazz?

They are great for any music. I have them connected to my surround sound system and play movies , music, etc. They can take a lot of power too, I was really impressed by that.
