I have struggled with adult acne and rosacea primarily on the left cheek for about 4 years now. The redness is constant. breakouts are not constant but they are consistent and happen somewhat often. I’ve tried so many products. Step by step routines, mix and matching different brands, etc . Sometimes I think I’ve found what works and my skins ok for a while and then I start to break out again. Anyways I’ve been using this product for about a week. I started using it in the middle of a really bad breakout on my problem cheek and let me tell ya I was praying for an over night miracle. That didn’t happen lol however I did start to see some improvement. The pimples themselves were not as sore and over the course of a couple days I did see a significant difference (less red, pimples much smaller, never coming to a head) . Just like other customers it did dry my skin out tremendously. I was still moisturizing nightly after applying these products and I’d wake up everyday with my skin flaking the area I was applying product to the night before. I’ll use extra moisturizer if it means my face clears up though. All in all I am happy with the results so far. If anything changes I will updated my review . I did add some photos to show what my results look like after using twice a day, for 7 days. Day 1 in the black and brown tie dye shirt and day 7 in the grey shirt

Summary: Great product, sensitive skin safe, immediate results This is actually an INCREDIBLE product. The photos in the orange shirt were taken before I started using this, pink is ONE WEEK after. I immediately noticed that my breakouts cleared up quite a bit and the depth of my acne around my jaw lessened (deep hormonal acne turned into smaller whiteheads within 2 days). I have incredibly sensitive skin (niacinamide causes flare ups and rashes for me) and this product has done an amazing job of zapping acne without causing rashes! My skin texture is SO MUCH smoother (even little non acne bumps have gone away).Your skin will get a little dry and acne spots will likely be surface sensitive (as opposed to deep hormonal pain), but I think the trade offs are 100% worth it!! Make sure you pair with a good sunscreen and good luck!! My full skin care routine: • remove makeup with lancôme makeup remover • first aide beauty gentle cleanser • Product Cleanser • Product toner • Product serum • Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping and Retexturizing Serum

Will update as soon as results come but came on time, was a bit smaller than expected for the price but I do know it goes a long way. Tried the sample line to see how it works and will update

I’ve always dealt with Rosacea for as long as I can remember. And I’ve noticed over the last few years how I’ve had bumps under my skin and uneven skin. You could really tell when I wore makeup, but when I didn’t the redness in my cheeks always bothered me. And my breakouts had gotten worse with the AZ heat. I read good things about this product but started with the regular strength first as reviews said the extra strength can be a lot. I used the regular strength for just about 2 months 7/25-9/20(I didn’t take any progress photos of course). But I could see the small bumps under my skin and unevenness slowly go away and get better. Not 100% but still noticeable to myself. But unfortunately didn’t do much for my redness. So when I ran out of the small version, I decided to try the extra strength given the review warnings. So far, I’ve noticed a difference in my redness and big difference in the amount of the small bumps around my jawline. Pretty much disappeared within a week of using the extra strength. It can be drying at times so I just use a moisturizer after the last step. And always sure to use a 60% SPF moisturizer in the am. I have noticed however that my skin is getting oily easier with these products, compared to a typically normal to dry skin. Which I don’t think is terrible except when my makeup gets oily midday. Overall pretty satisfied with the results I’ve seen in about 2 months. Excited to see how much more it’ll work with the next few weeks.

I have been having problematic adult hormonal acne for what seems like years. I had been using ceravé salicylic acid face wash but it wasn’t doing enough to get rid of my acne anymore so it was time to introduce something stronger to my skin regimen. I really like the formula of the Paula’s Choice 3 step set. As you can see from Day 1’s image I was receiving breakouts mainly in my T-zone and jawline. By day 2 (pictured) they had already noticeably shrunk and I had less redness. I already have a very uneven skin tone from my non-cute version of freckles so I’m always happy when I can get anti-redness AND acne relief in my skincare products. I will say to MAKE SURE YOU USE GOOD HYDRATING MOISTURIZER. When I first started using it I was not using moisturizer after the 3rd step. It dried my skin out around day 4 or 5 so I ended up only using the face wash for those days and did a few moisturizing face mask treatments to shake back. After that I cut back to washing 2 x a day instead of 3 and made sure I applied moisturizers after. I recommend only using something deeply hydrating, but very fragrance/paraben/alcohol denat/etc -free to minimize any occurrence of breakouts from your skin reacting to those harsh ingredients. Anything that’s for sensitive skin usually won’t be as drying, so if you can’t find anything free of all the things suggested above, stick with something labeled for sensitive skin. I don’t think this product would work well if you have incredibly dry/sensitive skin already as it is. Or at least not the extra strength. A little bit of each product goes a long way too. It’s a bit too pricey for me but I already ordered another tiny travel set to replace this one when it runs out. I definitely recommend this for people experiencing similar acne issues if you can afford it.
