Awesom book, awful printing quality
I read this novel digitally and it was so awesome that I wanted to buy a printed one.. I was really disappointed with the printing quality. It's awful, cheap printing and cheap paper.

La compré después de leer recomendaciones. Es un relato conmovedor, explicado y dibujado con gran calidad. Lo recomiendo sin duda. Ahora el problema es encontrar otras obras que sean tan buenas cómo esta.

I've been a fan of the autor's art since I read Casanova and Umbrella Academy (which I highly recommend). But It was the first time I read a story written by the Twin brothers. And what a wonderful tale of life and death. It would have been easy to fall in the «cliché» trap kind of story, but the two Brothers manage to create a compeling story, and achieve to make the reader feel the story. And I think it's an important thing. I won't say much more about the story since I don't want to spoil anything. On the art side, it's, as always with the Twin brothers, gorgeous. In fact, it may be their best work to date (not that their work before wasn't good, quite the contrary). The art have is «cartonny» and is at the sametime subtile. but, as I said before, the art achieve to not only believe that the representation of the world we see is real, but achieve to make the reader FEEl the story. In the end, the brazilian brothers manage to create a wonderful and moving story. Comic book lovers will love as «serious» read would too. In fact, it's these kind of story that should be presented to non-comics reader and not some super heroes comics (not that these story aren't good but it's too much buried under their complex continuity) Highly recommended

One of the best comics EVER. Delicate yet powerful stories.

This was the perfect first book to read this year as it serves as a meditation on life, death, and everything in between. Daytripper is packed with philosophy on how to truly live and appreciate the moments that make life meaningful. It offers reflections on gratitude, acceptance, and finding peace in what’s within your control, while gracefully letting go of what isn’t - it's a subtle nod to stoicism that resonated deeply with me. It made me think of past memories, friendships, relationships, travels, and of those yet to come. The artwork is stunning, with vibrant, detailed illustrations that bring each page to life. Every panel feels intentional, adding depth and emotion to the story. The characters are incredibly well-written, each with their own unique stories and complexities that make them feel real and relatable. My girlfriend and I were moved by how Daytripper made us pause and reflect on the fleeting beauty of life. It’s a book that leaves you thinking long after you’ve turned the final page. Whether you’re looking for a visually striking graphic novel or a story with deep philosophical undertones, this is a must-read. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to dive into a thought-provoking and inspiring book.

Voilà une BD qui risque de vous marquer pour un moment, dessins et textes absolument fabuleux, message simple mais combien utile à répéter à l'envi: carpe diem
