Worked for less than a week. Only used twice for night driving. What piles they are. How can something be this bad and still be in business? Halogen is tried and true. These need to be taken off the market, they're dangerous because they are not reliable. Typical crap from CCP, it works long enough to install.THE PHONE NUMBER FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT WORK. TRUST ME, YOU WILL NEED IT TO WORK IF YOU BUY THESE LIGHTS. THERE IS NO WAY OF GETTING SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY.

I have used several sets of xentec hids and they have all been extremely bright and long lasting. I did receive a defective ballast with this set however the customer service was great and quickly got me a replacement sent out. At the price of these kits they are very hard to beat. I have one set still working that has been installed for 3 plus years now.

At the end of the day, the install is clean and the bulb color & brightness is fantastic. The install was a pain in the butt.I think most people complaining about the lights not working probably struggled with the clip that requires the installer to slot the wires into it. I think they did it this way so that 1) the ballasts can be re-used between bulb types and 2) the hole you cut in the rear cover is smaller (mine still had to be 3/4" to fit the other clips).The issue with it is that trying to get a solid connection on that clip, where it clips to your car's wiring harness, is a royal pain. I think by the end I figured out that the little rubber insulation plungers were too far up the wires, getting in the way of the connection. After I disassembled the clips and slid the plunger things down the wire more I was able to wiggle the clip and get a solid connection. Install time would have been drastically reduced if it weren't for that.I was also bummed to see that my box didn't come with any sort of rubber grommet to try and keep any water out of the required hole. I'll head to the hardware store and buy a couple, but for now...it's duct taped. I think next time I'll go off Amazon to try and find a product with better clips.

For the money these lights aren't bad at all. Everybody says customer service is bad. Once you find out the right people to contact I emailed them the first time I got no response. Dug into it again email them for a second time got a response in 24 hours one of my 55 watt ballasts shorted out and fried. So they sent me another one and they sent me a replacement light. So far no other issues. I got the bulb and the light in like 2 days. Week later I got another replacement ballasts in the mail. Don't know if it was a fluke or not but at least I have a spare I would buy again
