Worksheets Don′t Grow Dendrites: 20 Instructional Strategies That Engage the Brain Review: Arrived quickly - arrived as promised and in perfect condition. Fun book! Review: Tate definitely opens the mind up to making learning more meaningful - I have not purchased this book through desertcart. I got it through taking her professional workshop ten years ago or so. I can't remember if I was given a copy of the book because if I was, I don't remember where it went. However, I did remember the workshop being engaging and I did remember the title of her book. If I can't find it, I plan to eventually re-add it to my professional development collection and I plan to refer parents to it who are constantly thinking worksheets are the way to learn. These reviews annoyed me, so I had to write one whether I end up re-purchasing or not. The good one: book "fun" and "good condition" "arrived quickly"...fun is the most descriptive evaluation and it's vague. What does the condition or arrival have to do with the content?? The bad review talks about Marcia Tate being rude. Again, what does that have to do with content of the material offered?? For those of you thinking about branching out more creatively in education or at home as parents, I highly recommend this book.

Great product
This book is a great resource for teachers and future teachers to break free from the mold of past education into new research based strategies.

Unprofessional Author
I own this book and it is a decent read; however, I met this author at a professional development and my opinion quickly changed. I was astounded by how RUDE she was to me when I enthusiastically approached her to ask a question to further my learning. I wouldn’t dare to speak to a student, much less a professional, the way she snapped at me.
