I purchased these for quite the unusual use, which is for horses to use for trick training to protect their legs from the abrasive sand footing in the arena. Shockingly they have held up very well, as with their weight I did not expect a long life span. I imagine they would be good for gymnastics as they cushion well but are still firm enough to provide support.

Perfectly firm and comfortable at the same time. I love the resistance when doing pushups.

Nice size, sturdy construction, durable. We bought two for the playroom. They get lots of use by the many toddlers who come to play. Substantially lessens the amount of injuries sustained by the children. Would recommend for playroom mats.

I like the size the thickness of the mat, it's a foot wider than my old mat. As for durability I'll just have to wait and see as I just got this mat about a couple of weeks ago.

I bought this floor mat about three years ago and it is still going strong. Hardley any wear or tear. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the handle ripped so now carrying is a little bit of a challenge.It thick and durable. We use this mat for many fun activities for the kids and I even use to do home workout. It’s so much more comfortable than a yoga mat.
