Tried it for the first time the day it arrived and also happened to be an evening my baby girl (7 weeks) went into a full melt down - she is usually very chill and relaxed unless she has bad gas problems... We tried everything - carrying stomach down, bicycling legs, rubbing belly, burping everything... Finally, though I really hate giving her anything if I can help it, we broke down and opened the Tummy Calm... Gave her 1/3 of the recommended dose. She took it easily and even seemed to like the taste! Quickly we could feel her tummy bubble and pop inside! She farted a couple of times, burped on her own (while lying in her cradle!) and fell asleep for 4 hours... I have since used it 3 other times and I have found that in general she burps and toots more easily when she has had it. If I haven't used it in a few days, her burps are harder to come by... if she has had it recently (within a day or 2), her burps are easy to get and big! And she seems much more relaxed... I am happy it is all-natural and not a chemical (which I was avoiding, even though husband brought those drops home first... I didn't use them). The liquid is black - it wipes off her mouth easily, but will stain fabric (temporarily)

I never write reviews, but I wanted to make it a point to write one on this magical product. In the early evening hours my baby usually starts getting fussy and crying for hours despite being well fed with breast milk, well rested, rocked and having a clean diaper. This has been so frustrating for my husband and I as we try so many natural methods to calm her down and they either work for 5 minutes or not at all. BUT every time we give her the tummy calm drops she is almost instantly better and calms down. Not long after she usually poops once if not a few times. I only give my newborn about 0.5mL once at night with a clean and sterilized syringe and it’s enough to be effective. Also, I did taste it for myself and it tastes good, like stevia. It is a black color though, so I put a bib on her because she will dribble some black stuff out. I’m telling y'all this has probably saved us hours of hearing the baby cry and saved me from crying as well.

I think I got the same background story as many of you: my newborn got colics, as it is my first baby I got into panic mode, spend the nights reading though the internet and got: - Chamomile globulis - Carbo vegetabilis globulis - Lactase - Gerbers smooth drops probiotics (was BioGaia) - Symethicon and ordered the two best reviewed amazon solutions: - Gripe water - Tummy calm. I spend days and weeks doing try and error to test every single solution and see if there was any progress. What I found out is: every baby is different!!! If something isn't working for me, it doesn't mean it won't work for you, so TRY IT! In my case, the tummy clam was the solution! It's the only thing we are using today (with a lot of cuddling and monkey grip (helps a lot!). First of all: it is homeopathic! No chemicals, no Symethicon, just natural stuff! it works! How can I be so sure? very simple: I stopped giving it 2 times for one day and the colic was immediately back! Pro: - compared to the gripe water, the serving size is much smaller. We started with 0.3 before or during every meal, and then switched to 0.6 (at 6 weeks approximately). Baby is doing great, there is no need to push hard anymore to poop, so he doesn't wake up anymore. Contra: - I love this product, really, but there is ONE THING I really hate: THE COLOR! Yes it matters. It is black. That means, it stains! And the stains are not easy to wash out! So I am very careful every time I give it to him, and try doing it BEFORE every meal, so he doesn't spit it when he burps. It helps a lot, but you will still get some stains... As I mentioned: every baby is different, so something that worked for me, might not work for you, but I would definitely try it!

I've never written a review on amazon before. These drops have saved us so many times. Our baby has always had issues with gas.. as a breastfeeding momma I had to watch everything I ate as everything gave her an upset belly. She would wake in the middle of the night with bad gas. The normal gas drops did nothing and we were going through them like crazy. These black gas drops give our baby instant relief. She passes the gas quickly and calms down and goes back to sleep. We are on our 3rd bottle. The price seems spendy but they do last along time and really I'd pay almost anything to give our babe this instant relief. If your baby is struggling with gas or stomach pain, buy these!! I also saw them being sold in walgreens for over $20. So the best price is here. They also seem to help with teething. Only giving 4 stars because of the droper, but you get the hang out it. They are messy but usually our baby is screaming in pain so its easy to give to her. Just a little at a time.

This stuff does work, but only short term just like any other gripe water/gas drops. Don’t love how it’s a dark color but also understand it is cause it’s all natural. Good product but could be cheaper

This is magic. I haven't slept all night because of grand daughters tummy problems. Now we both sleep all night no more crying.

When my newborn started to experience colic/ painfully gas the only advice I was given was to use Invacol. I always research what I use especially when it's over the counter treatments and was shocked at how in effective this treatment is and how badly it came out in clinical trials! In addition to the fact it contains all sorts of sweetness and artificial flavourings. I decided to research not only alternative medicines but information about the problem and what non medication interventions and changes I could do. In doing so I feel I have a better understanding of what is causing my little one her colic symptoms/ gas and how best to manage this. Along side changes i made with breast feeding I decided to buy two products -biogaia an infant probiotic to support her digestion in the long term and work towards preventing the gas (has a very good evidence base for breastfeeding baby's) and tummy calm for Instant relief. I was very impressed with the tummy calm website and the high quality of objective factual information on colic and painful gas, the clarity of information on the ingredients all of which are safe and appropriate for an infants sensitive tummys. This appeared to be the best alternative to invacol/simethicone I could find although it is very expensive. We have used tummy calm a number of times now and have been very impressed. The dropper is chunky and initially I thought getting my newborn to take it would be difficult but i was pleasantly surprised, the dropper was easy to use and control the amount administered and best of all she was able to suck on it and self administer. She appears to enjoy the taste and within a minute or two she has either had lots of burps and calmed or settled to sleep. An hour or two later she's been farting like a trooperer and making nappy changes a bit more interesting to say the least. We have also found she is now having days without any painfully gas which is great. Really pleased with tummy care and would highly recommend to anyone with an infant with painfully gas related colic. Ps so far have had no problems with staining we use a bib and muslin to prevent potential staining and any escaped liquid has not left any marks or stains!

Background: My child has had issues with wind and stomach pain since birth. Health visitors and doctors could never explain it and we were left to suffer it. I took him off his formula/ cows milk and gave him Oat Milk instead. His stomach settled, doctors confirmed 2 yrs on it was a milk allergy. Product: I bought this product as although a toddler he still wakes with wind. I put this in this milk before bed, he doesn't notice and he sleeps well. There doesn't appear to be any side affects unlike other medicines. Conclusion: if your looking at products because your child is suffering, don't give up refuse to leave the Drs until your taken seriously. Get them to prescribe medicated formula and not all formulas on the shelf agree with babies tummys. There will be a reason for your child's wind and pain, you just need to find it and 99.% of the time it's formula or milk products.

Really calms my baby. She sleeps better,poo easier,settles quicker. I loved the fact that you can give it at a times when she is not being fed. I use it as an emergency medicine to help my baby when she struggles to poo or has digestion problems, struggles to burp, hiccups and finds difficult to settle. Only one down side is that black colour.took me a while to learn how to nicely feed it to my baby hence several clothing items were damaged - you can't wash it off.

Does exactly exactly what it says - it's not cheap but baby with colic or wind is nearly instantly eased. Made with natural ingredients it does a superb job of helping baby and mum have a good rest between feeds in the early months.

Not sure this really worked for us so stopped using, it stains really bad so would only give her it in the bath tub! however the taste wasn’t too bad
