I owned a few salad spinners before but they all have the same problem: it takes a bit of force to get it to start spinning, especially the ones with small gears (can tell from the size of the circular spinning bit on the lid) and small handles. This one doesn’t have that problem though. The handle is just the right size and shape that makes it an easy grip even when it is spinning quite fast. It is very easy to spin and the depression on the lid makes it easy to hold the entire thing down. The material feels nice and solid too. Great product. I’d really recommend.

Very easy to use, no complaints. It's sturdy and gets my salad dry

Pretty sturdy, however the handle & rotary action were oddly tight (minimal spin when released) compared to when I removed it from the dishwasher for a clean before use, ..then it span much easier with a good residual energy movement after revving it up.After that all was fine!?Plastic mouldings in all parts appear strong & rigid with minimal flex to the basket (a good thing).I think this will last if you don't pile pans on the basket & bend it out of shape.German item, so not necessarily cheap but hopefully long lasting.

Functional, large, and looks good. The rubber bumps on the bottom of the spinner are very handy to help with the bowl staying steady while you’re spinning.

this is perfect for spinning veg; lettuce comes out dry and fresh,. it also seems to remain crisper in the fridge after spinning, if kept in sealed container. good purchase.
