The price is a little high, but it kills the tough weeds especially the chickweed that my lawn service can't seem to kill! I spray in the spring a couple of times and again in the fall after the first frost to keep the chickweed under control. Great Product.

OK...I've used this twice now and it works well. The first time I used this it did not work at all, that was totally my fault. At the top of this bottle is a trigger that you need to push forward, when you do water streams out. What I didn't realize is that the first detent is water only. When you push it farther forward then it sucks the weed killer up. So I have proven now that water does not kill weeds. Once I did this correctly, the Chickweed was turning color by the next morning. Now I've read that some people really soak the area. I wouldn't and that's not what the instructions say. This kills by landing on the leaves and soaking in. It doesn't go up through the root system. It doesn't kill the grass...but it is hard on it. That's why I'd be careful as to how much you lay down on your healthy grass. Kill the weed not the lawn. I've included a picture of 3 days after I applied this. The top corner is new SOD. The poison did touch that aread and you can see it's ok. I didn't soak it, but it got sprayed. It's dying everywhere on my lawn. I'm guessing after it's done I'll overseed and fertilize to get things back to normal. But my guess to the reviews that say this doesn't work, they probably didn't push the trigger fully forward. Because I don't see how I could have 100% success and then someone else would have none. This was very quick acting once I sorted the trigger out.

Doesn’t do anything on chick weed. I can’t get rid of it or the crab grass.

I tried general weed killer multiple times on an Oxalis infestation. Did not work!! Oxalis can spread through your yard quickly. This stuff did the job with one good application. Probably very effective on chickweed too.

Kills weeds, along with your grass. Ortho needs to change the front of the bottle that states "won't harm the lawn - guaranteed". I should have read all the fine print. Buried on page two are five grasses it's o.k. to use this product on and five grasses not to use it on. I found out the hard way that my grass is one you shouldn't use it on. Don't know if it will come back but it looks pretty distressed right now.

This Ortho Weed formula works very well when used with a "weed sticker" solution.I have several tricky flowered weeds in my Northeastern US lawn that need special attention, and this solution does a good job with all of them.I will buy again and would recommend to anyone with similar issues.

I purchased this product to treat Creeping Charlie (ground ivy) and clover in my yard. After treatment I saw no effect at all on these weeds over several days. I was able to return the unused product to Amazon for a refund and ordered Fertilome Weed Free Zone. By the end of the day I could see the weeds starting to react to the treatment and within a couple of days the weeds were dying off. I followed the manufactures instructions for applications of the products. Not sure how this product would work on other weeds, just don't recommend it for the weeds I treated.

We have a Southern California lawn that has been invaded by what turned out to be Yellow Wood Sorrel. I have tried several other treatments to kill off this "clover", but this is the only one that has worked. As the photo shows, the clover-shaped leaves turn yellow in just days, and there is no obvious damage to the grass. It has only been a week, but I like where this is headed.

will not fit British standard hose fittings, tried returning but postage is too expensive to take the risk of non refund for whatever reason and so will have to cut and modify product so as to use. This product should not be sold to countries where thread standards are different, Supplier must have known this problem and yet continues to sell this product overseas, very bad practice!
