I keep Ginger root in every form, on hand, all the time. I'm really impressed with this brand. I can tell by the appearance and smell that this is a high quality, organic product. Keeping it on hand in this dried form makes it easy to use in tea form. The health benefits are endless when it comes to Ginger. It's great for nausea, so I always mix it with mint and lemon to make a tea, then use that as a base in rock candy to make lollipops for my grandsons for when they get sick. The mint also helps with nausea. The sugar gives them a boost of energy. I wrap them individually and then put them in Mylar bags with oxygen reducers, so they always have some on hand at the start of school. Organic ginger, especially quality organic ginger such as this, is always a great value. Ginger is probably the most beneficial herb known to man. Plus, it's a great tasting herb!

This product is Really Strong and of awesome quality. Being a loose tea, it's easy to adjust the amount you use (start with extremely small amounts!). It's surprisingly good on its own, and also good to combine with other teas. It's so strong and if stored properly, it will last for a very long time. The quality is so great that I don't feel I need to use fresh ginger in most recipes--I just rehydrate a few pieces.
