The triangular part fits onto the belt guiding loop on the trousers, very handy, especially having two of them! As I am getting older I tend to lose my keys....followed by my temper!

I have had a number of extendable key chains for my work as a teacher and i often have to throw them away due to the poor durability. The most common flaw is the nylon cord which snaps after frequent use. HOWEVER, these are excellent, they immediately make up for that common annoying flaw which other similar items succumb to. This item improves on this flaw with a metal cord which is strong and very durable.Other pros:- it has a long cable for great length when doing things such as scanning key cards from a lanyard or opening doors- colour is great, official and formal looking- strong carabiner connector to ensure it doesn't come loose and fall off my lanyard.Cons:- Perhaps a bit of a bulky design but this may be a side effect of the longer cable (a small con for sure)Update:Metal wire snapped after around 2 months of using, which was unexpected and annoying as I had bought it hoping a metal wire may help it last longer.

The media could not be loaded. I use this at work to to open boxes and it goes as far as as I want it to. I have bought several as it doesn’t last forever but it does a good job.
