This is a tasty peanut. Probably the best combination of flavor and spice that I've found so far since I've (recently) embarked on a quest for peanuts geared towards true Chili Heads. However, while these are definitely going to be very hot peanuts for folks with a "normal" palette, for true chili heads such as myself, this nut just barely makes it over the line. It is hot enough to register as acceptable to a true chili head, but it doesn't come close to really getting the juices flowing. This manufacturer is definitely on the right track and makes a very good spicy nut, but i honestly think they need to add one more product line above the "Black Widow" line which is another notch hotter. It falls just short of what i think true chili heads are looking for. Sadly, I think they are also a bit too expensive for folks who really like to eat spicy peanuts as more than just a novelty. For $12, the quantity is quite small...you can easily finish a bag...solo...in one day. I really do wish they were more affordable. If they they were, I would certainly order them more often.

OH MY GOD. I did not intend to open the portal of hell.I LOVE spicy stuff. I make KILLER chili that only I can handle... chocked full of fresh habaneros, and a mixture of other spicy peppers according to the scoville scale.At our local restaurant, I order the Demon Chicken sandwich and if the servers don't know you they ask your pain tolerance. Sure, at the end of the sandwich my nose is running and I'm sweating, but it tastes so damn good!!! I actually ask for extra demon sauce.So my husband let the kids pick out different Peanut flavors for my birthday. Both were OUTSTANDING... mild heat. I can handle it. Jamacian Me Sweat and the sour cream one... I forgot the name. Both FANTASTIC!So after I devour 2 bags and gain 2 pounds... I need more. I see a 4 out of 5 heat. I mean it can't be THAT bad.Holy Mother of Everything and Anything that EVER existed on planet earth. I must have blisters on my tongue. What in the nuclear warfare is this. Who double dogged dared you to create this tongue peanut atom bomb? Satan, himself came up and asked if I was ok... because apparently hell isn't as hot as my exploding taste buds. I needed to extinguish the flames, beer was a POOR choice. OMG... 100% the WRONG CHOICE.What does the 5 out of 5 heat bring? I mean I guess I could spontaneously combust... pretty sure that would be how I died... if I ate 5 out of 5.Do I recommend, 100% yes. The flavors are on point... but if you want to destroy your tongue, order the 5 out of 5.I triple dog dare ya.

How hot you find these nuts will depend on your spice tolerance, but I found the heat level was pretty good for me. Hot enough to make my nose run, but not so hot that I couldn’t eat them. Maybe a bit less spicy than expected, but still a lot more spicy than most spicy snacks you can find on the grocery shelf, so proceed with caution if you’re not sure of your tolerance level. The spice level built as I ate and lingered in the back of my throat for a while after eating. No milk required or anything like that as the burn was quite pleasant. The only downside and reason for only 4 stars is that I personally didn’t enjoy the flavor. They were pretty bland aside from the heat and a sourish tang. I like my food spicy, but I like it to taste good too, especially with a snack like this to munch on while watching TV rather than for some kind of challenge. You may enjoy them more than I did.

I'm a huge chili head, so I figured the Black Widow's Bite would be perfect. I cracked the bag open immediately and tried one single peanut. Great taste, didnt get much spice, just a slight tickle in the back of my throat. Tried a half handful, again, loved the flavor, and got a little heat on the back end.Sat the bag down, and grabbed it again a few hours later for a late night snack, got a proper handful and a few bites in, the heat hit full force. My eyes teared up a tiny bit, and it subsided quickly after. Nothing too overwhelming, and the flavor was never once compromised by the heat.Gotta say, im a huge fan of this product now, and will be giving this company more of my business in the future. :)

So I was excited to get these and I almost got two bags but i decided for their supposed 3x hot and it turns out its 0x hot. I wish i had spent my .oney on a hot sauce bottle instead of this. I wish I had just visited my local Mexican market and gotten a variety of snacks instead of spending the money here. My gf also said they werent hot at all and could eat the whole bag, and she doesnt like hot at all so if she can eat the whole bag that tells you how weak the flavor really is. I recommend getting Doritos spicy nacho. The bags are everywhere, they taste better and only cost a few bucks. SKIP THIS!

They are spicy but not overly hot. There are snacks that tend to try to make themselves hot just for the sake of being hot and no real flavor. These nuts actually have a decent flavor and are “all hell breaks loose” spicy. If you like spicy things and fall into the category of liking stuff that burns your face off, then these might not be for you. If you like spicy things and are just looking for a good, spicy snack…these are it.

The expensive price tag is a bit daunting, but if you've got money falling out of your pockets, then these hot nuts certainly do deliver on their promise of flavor. The curry elements were complex and pronounced. The heat seems medium at first taste, but quickly gets noticeable on the back swallow... and the more you eat, the hotter it gets. And the nuts themselves have plenty of earthy, nutty robustness. Definitely a quality product.

Highly impressed with these. I love spicy food - the hotter the better, and most things that say spicy are not. I munch on these for way too long and then realize my mouth burns continues to burn for a little while afterwards. They are addicting and delicious, and I'll definitely be buying again. I took them to work to challenge some coworkers - that was fun.
