I like that they prevent opening of the window from the top or bottom pane.

Great sliding door lock
Fairly easy to install. You hardly notice it's there. Great value for 2 locks.

They are decent
These are better than the Slideco-Primeline. Not high security, by any means. These are used on cabinets and other applications though originally intended for sliding horizontal or vertical windows.

It works as advertised
I used the lock on a sliding closet door. I wanted to be able to secure the door when my young grandchild is staying with us. While the hollow door makes it less than ideal, the insert helps to strengthen the connection. It was easy to install with a 1/2 in drill and screwdriver

Locks
The locks appear to be sturdy but a little smaller than what I expected. I didn’t keep them because of a suggestion from my locksmith.

I bought these heavy‑duty sliding door and window locks to add extra security to my home, and they’ve been exactly what I hoped for. The build quality feels solid — the metal is thick and doesn’t flex when locked, and the included keys turn smoothly every time. Installation was simple with the provided screws and instructions, and but they didn't fit well on both my sliding doors and a couple of windows. These locks are good but my sliding door & the frame were not the equal in size , So these didn't fit So, i returend them .
