BioAdvanced 701100A 2 In 1 Rose Fertilizer and Flower Care Systemic Granules II Insect Killer, 5-Pound

Very easy to use. Effective. Flowers love it.

Put around my bug attacked rose bysh and bugs disappeared and the leaves starting coming back. Now have a nice full plant again with lots of blooms.

I had previously purchased the Bayer 2-in1 systemic in a 10 lb. jug in 2024 and ordered this 5 lb. jug this spring (2025). I thought I was purchasing the exact same product, but was surprised to find that the chemical formulations are completely different, as well as the dosing instructions. The 10 lb. jug product's dose was 1/2 cup per rose bush, every 6 weeks. This 5 lb. jug's instructions are 1 capful per rose bush (2 oz.) every 8 weeks. My advice is to READ THE LABEL to find out which product you are dealing with. Other than that, I think the product does a great job with controlling thrips and aphids, which are the main problems where I live. I also make sure my roses get a lot of compost, fish emulsion, and organic nutrients as well, in order to combat the potential harsh effects of the chemicals.

I purchased this product in hopes of preventing the annual bug infestation to my roses. I used as directed, and the bugs are not as bad as they usually are on the roses. However, I also noticed that the blooms only last a day or two after using this product on them. They seem to burn/dry up and die very quickly, so I’m not getting to enjoy my beautiful flowers for long this year. In the past I used sprays versus the pellets that you sprinkle over the soil, and this worked well, except you’d have to keep applying frequently. With the granules, you don’t have to apply as frequently, so it is more convenient, but you’re sacrificing the blooms for the overall health of the plant/leaves. Also, after using, the buds are MUCH smaller than normal and sometimes they don’t even open all the way— like half of the bud dies before it opens. So I ended up with several half dead blooms— literally: half of the bloom is dried up and dead and the other half is alive and well. I think, moving forward, I may pre-treat the shrubs before they start to bloom. Overall, this product helps with the bugs, so technically it does “work”. But I’m not thrilled with the results. I’m not NOT recommending it.

This is a good rose fertilizer. One word of advice if your looking for the one that controls fungus leaf spot and the pests it has to be the 3 in 1. Works for long time and really puts on blooms

This a is a very effective product by a proven brand. I have an large plant collection and most of the specimens in my collection was infested with spider mites and/or aphids along with two different species of scale, and by using this product was the only way I was able to get ahead of the situation! Not to mention the price was way cheaper than the big box stores in my area. 5stars!

EZ to apply ... Great fertilizer combining lethal products for pests. Does both jobs well.
