It works!
This SpectraGel 2Q silicone scare gel is easy to apply and so far seems to work well. Some people were mentioning being concerned about staining and I haven’t encountered any of that. You put it on a thin layer and allow it to dry and you’re just fine. It is a really really good barrier against the skin that allows it to work its magic. It feels a tad sticky when you first apply it, but I just immediately wash my hands after use and it’s fine. I think if you were using it to try and heal a scar in a large area it could get a little pricey, but if you’re looking just to help with some lighter scars, this is a great size and well worth it.

So Far So Good
I’ve been using this the last couple weeks on a couple scars from some cuts. I’ve already noticed that the scars have noticeably faded. This product is very easy to apply and is the color clear so it isn’t noticeable once applied. It is a little sticky and can attract dirt, so just keep that in mind. The tube that it comes in is very small, but a little seems to go a long way. So far it’s making a difference and hopefully that’ll continue as I continue to use it over the next several weeks.

😱Very disappointed in the actual product as it's messy to use and very easy to over apply wasting the product which is over priced as it is. Better off getting the tape🌴...

Spectragel
I was initially skeptical about this product based on my experiences, with other products I have tried. I bought into the selling points of other products, only to come up short in the end. Other products have worked to some extent, but then would fizzle out. I have yet to have that experience with Spectragel. I have been using this product for over two weeks on a 20 year old chicken pock scar, and a year and a half 2nd degree burn scar, and the results have been overwhelmingly great. I've tried just about every product I could get my hands on, and after a decade I think I may have found a miracle. both scars are lighter in color, flatter, and surprisingly have shrunken in just over a two weeks. I follow the instruction to the letter, which states to leave the product on for 12 hours which I do. I also place a band-aid over the product if I'm turning in for bed, to protect the product. This product so for has been amazing but again- it's only been two weeks, so I will return with a update in approximately two weeks to give better detailed evaluation of this product. So for so good!

Good silicone gel but does not dry like it says
This silicone gel does work however it does not dry like it says it does. So you will have to put up with the gel not drying so I only put it on at night and try to not sleep on the side where the scar is, but you eventually do. However it does work and the scar is noticeably flatter.
