EISCOLabs Sodium Benzoate Paper Strips - Genetic Taste Testing (Vial of 100) - Model FSC1032 - Pack of 5

I was hoping I would discover I had a superpower of super tasting, but, alas, it wasn't meant to be. It was a novel fun thing to try out with friends at a party or something of that nature. I had a few family members and friends try them out too. Of the about 6 people in total that were at my house only one could taste anything so I guess that means it works. We all had fun speculating who had the best taste buds so just for the novelty I would recommend it.8/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful.

I used it for a genetics unit, and kids got a huge kick out of it

I got this mostly for fun. I wnated to try it out with my friends. So I only have a sample size of 6. 4 of us couldn't taste anything (which is normal, majority of people aren't supposed to be able to), and 2 of us reported very faint flavor.I can't tell if that is faint because they only mildly can taste it, or if these strips are weakly applied. But I will assume it works until I get a larger sample size.
