Works Perfectly!
The neck wasn't threaded correctly when I initially tried it out, so it leaked quite a bit. Once all the parts were screwed together properly, it functioned perfectly. My two puppies are messy drinkers, so I put a rug under it in their crate. They have water when they need it, and it's easy to fill without having to uninstall it completely.

Excellent quality. Sturdy, well-made, easy to clean and assemble.
edit: I purchased the smaller sized one for my other parrot and I absolutely love it. He likes it very much too because it gives him a much stronger flow of water than the previous one I had. It is so easy to pull out of its holder and then clean and replace. I love that both bottles are flat on one side to sit flush against their enclosures. It doesn't matter what the bar spacing is, the bottles adapter fits with it. I'd love to see a glass version of this bottle but otherwise, I am so happy I switched to this brand. I love this 20oz water bottle. I hesitated before I got it because I'm used to the glass basic kind but decided to try it and I'm definitely keeping it. It is easy to install, holds tightly even on horizontal bars, detaches easily and sits firmly in its base. So far, my bird is not at all afraid of it. At first try, it does not leak and dispenses a good amount of water. I like the top-fill option as well! I might get the smaller 15oz one to see if the birds like it better but I'll definitely be switching my old, glass bottles to this brand. Well worth the money.

they do leak
I got these for my puppies because they were both developing UTIs. they're crated while I'm at work and the person who takes care of them and takes them out noted that every time they put a water dish in the crates they would simply spill them and it was honestly causing the humidity in that room to get unbearable. They do leak at random. one of them was leaking continuously and I adjusted it and it did help but the second one just randomly started leaking at different intervals it's not an unbearable amount but there is dripping in the crate.

Leaked all over my $200 orthopedic dog bed – furious Doberman Mom!
I’m furious. I bought the Vannon Dog Water Dispenser for my beloved Dobermans, hoping it’d be a solid, no‑leak solution—but it’s an absolute disaster. I came home from a quick trip to Publix to find this cheap piece of garbage had completely emptied itself all over a $200 orthopedic bed. That expensive, ultra‑premium bed? Ruined. Built like a leak factory, not a dispenser. • The seal is pathetic. No lock, no reinforcement—just thin plastic that bends and leaks under the slightest pressure. • The nozzle drips constantly. The bottle doesn’t hold anywhere near a full capacity unless it’s standing perfectly still. • It’s not even suitable for crate use—this thing is a water bomb waiting to explode. My Dobermans mean the world to me, and I don’t spare a penny for their comfort. Yet this junk ruined their bedding, left them with wet paws, and caused stress to both dog and owner. I’ve had ok experiences with LiXit bottles—yes, they had hiccups, but they’ve now stepped up their game. I’ve reordered LiXit and so should anyone who values quality. I want my money back, Amazon. This vendor should be banned from this platform. I’m reporting this product to • Amazon Complaints Dept • U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) • Better Business Bureau (BBB) • Federal Trade Commission (FTC) I love my dogs—I adore my Dobermans. And seeing them suffer over a flimsy, leaky bottle? That’s not just frustrating—it’s unacceptable. #DOBERMANMOM #DOGLOVER #DOGMOM #DIYPROBLEM #LEAKINGDISASTER #NOTFORCRATES #VannonFAIL #AmazonFAIL #LIXITFOREVER #DOGGEAR

By Far, Best Cage Water Feeder - ZERO Leaking and Easy To Fill
This thing works perfectly. Zero dripping! But at the same time, when my small dog touches the end of the water dispenser a good amount of water flows. I also love that it is filled from the top, so you do not have to frequently loosen and tighten the bottom of it… As such frequent loosening and tightening of the bottom seal will eventually cause it to wear out. I highly, highly recommend this product… especially considering that so many of the others (that I have tried) all leak.

Leaks constantly
The overall look of product is really nice, but it leaks so much

It’s not as simple as it looks.
The product is very well made BUT you can’t just pop the bottle in and out of the bracket to clean and fill . The holder is clunky to position and I tried it both inside and outside the kennel. I really wanted a large water bottle that stayed clean and so my ShiTzu wouldn’t put his whole face in the bowl to drink. If you have a flat faced dog you know what I’m talking about. Inside the kennel (and it’s a 200 kennel so it’s fairly large) you have no room at top to set the nipple high enough for the dog where you can easily lift the bottle out without hitting the kennel. Outside the kennel it’s easier but then the bottle doesn’t have the back support. This is really great for a rabbit hutch or something much taller but then it still wouldn’t be level for a taller dog. I’m still hoping to find a solution. It doesn’t leak. It has a lot of moving parts but cleans easily- oh and there is a learning curve for your animal if they’ve never used a bottle before. As far as the bottle itself- I’d give it 10 stars. It just wasn’t practical for me.

Best idea ever?
Okay, we have a dog that has to stay in his kennel all day while we work otherwise he will tear stuff up. We wanted him to be hydrated though especially this past summer so we bought this for his cage and it works great! Easy to refill which we do often. He had trouble at first getting used to it and would swallow the water and end up coughing because it went down the wrong way. Now, he uses it fine. He's half terrier/pit bull.
