It will keep you warm.
I love this parka. It is nice and warm. It looks and feels like it has been sewed together with care. It fits tight to my body. The sleeves are tight; The waist is tight. There are no drafts of cold air sneaking in and robbing my warmth.

My wearable sleeping bag.
i love this coat. This thing is like wearing a sleeping bag. It is so warm and comfy. The first one I ordered was an XL, Well the slim fit actually runs about two sizes smaller. The XL fit but was very snug. Amazon was great about exchanging it for an XXXL witch fits looser the way my older XL parka does. Even this size is still slimmer than my older ore, but much looser and better fitting. Love the fur around and the fleece lining in the hood. Even the pockets seem to be fleece lined. this is a great parka, but the question is, will it last 20 years like my older one. Only time will tell. All in all this is a great parka for the price and I would recommend and would buy again.

Comfortable, stylish
This is an amazing jacket. I'm surprised with how comfortable it is and how it can be used in moderately cool weather, or extremely cold and windy conditions. It is stylish, and has pockets everywhere. I don't like that it is rather awkward to put your hands in any of the pockets though. But it's minor considering how much I like everything else. I'm thin and tall, I ordered the slim fit and it is still very roomy.

Great when sized down
Firstly, I'm 6'5' and around 200 lbs, 42 in chest, and wear a 16.5/ 36-37 dress shirt. I picked up a large at first, but it was massive around the chest and waist which is OK if you plan on wearing 2 or 3 layers underneath, but I expected something different from a coat marketed as 'slim-fit'. I should also note that the first one I purchased was the sage green color and it looked pretty awful in person. I returned the large (which wasn't purchased from amazon, but directly from AI) and ordered a medium in maroon from Amazon, which turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. It fits snug on the waist and chest resulting in a nice silhouette, reaches halfway down my backside, and I was very happy to see that the sleeves were long enough even in medium. It keeps me very warm in frigid temperatures (I've only been down to 15 degrees farenheit, but was fine with just a t-shirt under) and is very water repellent, if not waterproof. I really enjoy the maroon color which is a deep red in person; obviously, based on the composition of the coat, the material has a sheen to it. This looked pretty bad with the green color that I had before (like a trash bag), but not with the maroon colorway. Something interesting to note is that this coat doesn't have traditional seams at the shoulder, rather the seams run through the chest and upper back. There is an elastic cuff on the interior of the sleeve at the wrist to keep the wind out, as well as the front placket to keep wind out from the zipper. TL;DR it is a very warm, comfortable, and stylish coat. If you're looking for a more fashionable fit, go for a size down. If not, just go true to size. Maroon looks great, sage doesn't.

Zipper is not great
The hood is warm and cozy, not just the fur liner, but a fleecy liner inside the main good...it's good. The zipper is not smooth at all. I was sad, because I could tell I liked this coat. 5'8" 160lbs and the small fits me perfectly, athletic build. My mother said, "rub a bar of Dove Soap on the zipper" so I did, and the zipper works fine now. Not sure if I am gonna see bubbles when it rains on me? Worth the money but I haven't tried it in true cold weather yet so I will update review when it gets into single digits here. Seems legit, honestly. First thing to go? Long red zipper pull saying "remove before flight...." OKayyyyyy. Sometimes you just don't want a down coat. I think this is a good alternative. Please put a quality zipper in this nice jacket though.

Great parka for the price
I'm 5'8 140lb and it's a little loose around the torso and is a bit longer than in the picture (down to about mid-thigh though I may just have a short torso). It fits well in the shoulders and arms though and the extra space allows me to add more layers underneath for when it's too cold so it's not a big deal. You could probably size down to get a closer fit but I don't think anyone will care if your heavy winter jacket is baggy. Most importantly, it's extremely warm - just a tshirt plus parka is fine below freezing but probably not enough below ~10 F, depending on your cold tolerance. I bought this for $150 with a 20% off Amazon promo but I also saw it hit $110 on a lightning deal recently for certain sizes/colors. Even at full price or close to it though, it would still be a good buy.

Nice til it breaks down
I was very happy with everything about this coat (fit, warmth, appearance) until it started to break down less than three months after getting it. Over half the buttons fell off which was fine until the fabric around zipper split and tore in two areas, making it difficult to fully zip up coat. The zipper itself looked tough but the fabric surrounding it is obviously pretty vulnerable (I may take to a tailor for repair but I am not sure if there is enough fabric to reinforce around the zipper). I wasn't expecting this, and bought this coat because I knew people who had Alpha coats last them for years. I didn't even get a full season out of mine. It was appropriately sized, so there is no reason why the material should have given out since it hadn't been stretched or anything. Alpha refused to replace anything purchased not directly from them. The seller of this item was somewhat helpful but there wasn't much they could do about it if Alpha wouldn't warranty it. If I had intended on having a jacket break down after less than a season I would've gone to a discount store and spent 15-20 bucks rather than drop money on a brand a thought would be legit.

I live in Canada. This parka is very work well. I took under shirt and sweat inside parka. I could walk 10min in -25 windy day ( feels like -37) and extreme cold day -42 ( feels like -48). It`s Not warm clothes. Shut out cold and wind tightly.

Looked at Canada Goose, Moncler etc and realised that a) I'm not that wealthy and b) it doesn't get cold enough in England to justify the price of one of those (very nice) coats. But I like looking stylish and like the clothes I wear to be functional but also make a statement. Enter Alpha Industries. In terms of sizing I'm a size small in tops (sweatshirts, t shirts, other jackets etc) and this fits perfectly. I'm a short length in suit jackets and trousers though so bear that mind if you're tall as the sleeves on this are spot on for me, someone who is a regular length would get away with it too. In terms of warmth - this thing kept me warm during 'The beast from the East' with only a sweatshirt underneath - no need to layer up, at least not up to -10 degree temperatures. It's warm. It's stylish. It's of excellent quality.

I was really excited about this parka and when I received it I was the happiest person, BUT I found out it is not a good choice for a Canadian winter, the bottom is very cold. This parka does not give me an assurance it will be warm even while it`s -10 -15, I am not talking about real winter here... The second drawback is the location of two pockets for arms, too high! I felt like a dinosaur with tiny hands, it`s not enough space The only good thing in this parka is it`s hood. When you zip it up, you are like Kenny, only little part of your face will face winter tempretures, but overall it`s not a winter parka... I am going for Canada Goose...
