An easy to use, wide rolling pin
Seems like a lot to pay for a big wooden dowl, but its worth it in my opinion. Our first use was to roll out pasta dough and it did a really good job. It's nice and wide so it covered a large area. Its got enough girth and weight to make the rolling out job go quickly and easily. Its quite maneuverable and effective. The slightly rough surface holds just enough flour so that the pin didn't stick to the dough.

What I was looking for
This wooden rolling pin was what I was looking for. The wood has a nice, straight grain, so I don't expect any bowing. Also, the PME Large Rolling Pin Guide Rings fit this rolling pin very well. Looking forward to happy cookie baking!

I like it fine but it was a bit rough and had to rub it with a fine sandpaper to smooth it a little which was fine too.

Works as it should. Nice straight rolling pin. I use it mostly for making croissants, have not been disappointed yet. Very happy with this, it was a great price.
