LOL @ the question, and the answers so far. First, if you're an uber-hipster, have a bald head, tattoos, wear glasses even though you don't need a prescription & have 20/20 vision, hang out in coffee shops, have a heavy beard, & enjoy vaping & brunch.....look no further, THIS IS YOUR TOASTER! On a serious note, I spent 4 days at an ACE Hotel in New Orleans and it was decked out in SMEG. The SMEG refrigerator was a masterpiece & kept things cold, but it looked like an old Coca Cola Machine with a pull-lever handle. Cool.

Q: What is the length of the slots? I buy bakery bread and it is longer than standard grocery store sandwich bread. Thanks!

Not sure on the exact length of the slots but they are too short for most of the artisan breads out there. I returned my 2 slice model and bought the 4 slice model which will handle all the bakery/artisan breads just fine....a little more expensive but for me it was worth it.
