These bookends are just what I needed for a perfect display on top of my new tallboy in my bedroom. They are sturdy and tall (18cm) which makes them equally suitable for a few hardbacks. They are a bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for - they arrived in pristine condition in a little box with protective film on the bookends. It peels off leaving no residue and there were no scratches on the acrylic. They look smart yet unobtrusive. As it was only a couple of ££ more to buy a second pair at the time, this is what I did. Highly recommended.

Easy to use and invisible when on the armless bookshelf. Liked the 'plastic' studs that anchored it somewhat.

These are just simple clear plastic right angle book ends. I use them so that books sit on top of the bottom section. They work very well.

Ok for very light and small books, but couldn't hold a row of my toddler's books, a couple of which are large, if not heavy, without buckling and the books falling to the floor. Disappointed.

I was a little worried after reading a few reviews that mentioned them breaking easily or bending at an angle so I made sure only to use them father from the edge of my open side bookshelf when displaying comics or novels, I have them closer to the edge to allow additional support from the metal frames of my bookshelf and between books that are standing and laying down flat to avoid having it independently supporting the weight of my heavier books and that seems to be working well. It's only been a day though, but there is so far, no bends or breaks and they look unobtrusive and clean. Came in perfect condition
