Good Replacement Capacitor
I purchased this cap almost a year ago when our AC went out. I matched the specs of the failed capacitor to this one, and installation was fairly straight-forward (don’t forget to turn off power and discharge the old capacitor first!) Overall, this replacement has performed well over the last year and I feel like it is a great value, especially when compared with the cost of an AC service call in the middle of the summer.

Shorter and Larger in Diameter than Original of same Specifications
It arrived as described correct voltage / microfarad Installed it and condensing unit is working properly. Hasn’t been in for 24hrs yet. It was a hot one here today so I’m glad it rectified the issue. Was a little shorter than the original. Otherwise all good. Hope it lasts a long as the original got 10-11 years out of that one. I’ll revisit & update if not.

Solved the problem and was a perfect fit.
This Huarew capacitor had all the same specs and dimensions as the original one that came out of my Carrier Air conditioner unit, and it was available for next day delivery. The fact it had the same dimensions as the original equipment capacitor made the parts swap that much easier because I didn’t have to retrofit the holding strap that secures it to the unit. This is a Chinese made part, so I’m not expecting longevity out of it, but I did order a 2nd one as a backup for when it does fail. The parts swap takes less than 5 minutes and is quite simple, but please do yourself a favor and make sure you turn off the power at your breaker panel before starting any work. Also, make sure the capacitor your changing and the new one you receive are completely discharged before messing with them. Discharging them is as simple as taking a screwdriver with an insulated handle and making contact with the C (Common) and H (Herm) and F (Fan) terminal posts. Do it a couple times just to make sure it’s discharged and you made proper contact. It there was any energy still stored in it, it will make a spark, so try not to wear gasoline soaked gloves when doing any electrical work! Also, as an extra safety precaution, it’s never a bad idea to turn off the breaker at the main panel and at the unit. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there that show you how to safely and properly change out the part, so I would highly recommend you take a look at a couple of those if you don’t have any experience doing this sort of thing. Update 11/13/24: This capacitor has survived over two years and still going strong and I still have a backup for when it does fail.

Fit
Got my AC back up and running. Easy swap out. AC went down after power blip. Could get it to run by moving the fan by hand. This was the culprit.

Good product & recommend it!
Good product & bought to replace others on RV AC but still getting hot & shutting off. Not due to this product as I think it just need's replacing. Made sure Micropharats were correct or higher than needed as it wouldn't have come on.
