Running Boards for Ford

We bought this for our 2023 F150 and it aligned and fit perfectly. Hubby just had surgery so I installed it by myself. It took me an hour and a half from start to finish (including unpacking items and getting tools out etc). It came with two sets of instructions, one was really helpful. I love the way it looks and it seems to be good quality. It definitely helps the kiddos and adults get in and out of the truck easier. Time will tell if it rusts or not. Hope the before picture, after picture and a pic of what it looks like underneath helps.

The steps are sturdy, and for the price, they're worth it. Unfortunately, one of the brackets bent after a couple of weeks of use. They shipped out a replacement immediately after showing pictures and got it within a couple of days. I've used these for a couple of months in different conditions. Sometimes, I find myself in situations where I'm off-roading, it's raining, or we have someone who can't reach the seat in my truck, and they have been clutch every time I need them.

We upgraded our 2017 F150 from the stock running boards that were starting to show rust through the “chrome”. These were super easy to install, fit perfect and look great!! They are 1.5” shorter than the OEM running boards. The new boards even came with a third bracket that mounted on existing studs on the truck and really strengthened the entire running board. Only things that I think could be better-1) the plastic end caps could fit better/tighter and 2) the screws that secure the end caps in place could be easier to install. The way they are manufactured means that it feels like the supplied screws have to be started into the plastic “stud” on the end cap at an angle. Once you get them started they secure tight but I think with just a bit of manufacturing engineering change, the step would be easier and would feel more secure. All in all, great product, good final look and we are pleased with the entire process. Will buy same brand again either of my F250’s ever need running boards!

Easy to install and very sturdy

They look good, feels solid when you step on it. Installation was a breeze. Everything lined up no missing hardware. As others have mentioned screwing on the end caps can be a little finicky. To the manufacturer, change the phillips to a hex head screw. There's a lot of plastic on these so longevity is what I'm going to keep an eye on. I believe the price point matches the quality. Their not some cheap, flimsy,over priced piece of junk. Would I recommend them, I say look at your budget.

Exactly as advertised and easy installation

Great running boards that look awesome. Opening the package everything looked good and was packed neatly. The included instructions were horrible. I ended up following the advice of other reviews and looking up a YouTube video for install instructions. It took me about 40 minutes from start to finish. Install the brackets first and then put the boards onto the brackets. Take your time, watch an install video first and it should be easy. The running boards look very sleek and are extremely sturdy. I would highly recommend them as a great affordable option.
