Get the "Geddy Lee" growl sound.
Love Rotosound, been using them on all my Jazz bases. They stay bright for a long time and helps get that "Geddy Lee" growl tone. Wouldn't use any other bass strings. These are top and their prices have came down over the years.

For a Rickenbacker 4003w, my favorite so far
I have been struggling with my Rickenbacker 4003w for a while now, just couldn't get the action and neck relief just right. Saw a video on Youtube where the gent spoke about running a super light set of strings on ricks...soooo. I am so happy that I tried these. I had to adjust the neck a hair, but now the action is low, the intonation is better, and you can bend the strings super easy. One adjustment I found was my left hand technique, these strings require a lighter touch, like a MUCH lighter touch...if I push on them like I would any other bass I fret buzz like crazy, but lighten the touch and no buzz. After playing for 25+ years this is a first for me.

The first and still the best bass strings for me.
I have played bass for over 50 years. I started using the RS66's in the 60's. I play guitar and mandolin as well, and for the last 3 years I had no bass gigs. Now I do. I have some weakness in my right arm and saw that RS makes a medium-light gauge (.90 low E) and decided to try them, they sound just as good and, after adjusting my bridge for the lighter gauge, they play perfectly and sound great. It was a YouTube clip with Chris Squire that made me investigate the other gauges. He used the original gauge but his hands are incredibly huge. So I'm a big fan of RS and the fact they have created a lot of different gauges while keeping that sound.

GOOD STRINGS
These used to be my go to strings. They have that Roto sound BUT are still a bit rough .

Surprisingly good!
Bought these for a vintage Warwick with the pre-1996 thin necks. Neck would just not be able to have a decent action with any other normal string set no matter the truss rod setting. Would either be high action with fretouts/buzzing or high action with clear notes. Tried these and it worked perfectly. Very low tension so the neck so very low relief was added by the strings. Very taught strings so they don't flop around despite the narrow diameter. Incredibly bright too, which helped a lot with cutting through and not having low notes turn to mud.

Best strings for the price
These strings are light and twangy sounding wright after being installed they pick up the bass sound and higher notes well. After they ware a wile they have a crisp bass sound and last a long time for the price they cant be beet some fo you may want a heavier set

Great lighter set of bass strings
Installed these strings on an acoustic guitar that I converted into a hollow body bass. I wanted a lighter set and they sound really good. From what I understand, these are the strings Geddy Lee uses and if they are good enough for him, they are definitely good enough for me. This is the 2nd set of rotosound bass strings I have purchased and both sets are still on the basses.

Only string I will use on my rickenbacker
Use these on my rickenbacker 4003. The medium lights are ideal for this bass in my opinion. In fact on my rick, this gauge is the only one that seats in the nut on the D string. They play and sound great.

Las cuerdas suena super genial, muy buenas para tocar slap, si tuviera que decidir si las compraba de nuevo o no, seguro las compraba nuevamente.

Last year I have switched to light gauge (30 or 35) strings and I'll never leave it, much easier and faster to play with more resources, like bending and better slapping, and you don't get tired of playing, very comfortable. These strings are very balanced and do have a punchy sound, bright but a beautiful brightness, excellent for using effects or chords, also the bottom end is there full and round.

I keep on coming back to these. They sound great brand new and they sound great worn. Fantastic value too.
