Out with the old…in with the new!
The new hose fit perfectly on my ‘04 Silverado! I replaced the old washer fluid container with a new one, along with the hose, thus making installation a breeze. The old hose was broken by the battery, which may have been the cause of the separation. When reinstalling, you may want to use a little bit of lube to make reconnecting to the washer fluid pump and the middle connection point an easier process. Once reinstalled, everything worked as it should!

Fixed a simple problem for hundreds less than a dealership
After 20 years of under hood heat and replacement of fluid reservoir, the old lines were brittle and breaking. After removing the battery and a few other things to get to reservoir this item was easily replaced to a connection point between battery and windshield. My mechanic was talking ordering GM parts and one to two hundred bucks. Would hate to have seen what a franchise dealer would have charged.

Fit perfectly. Easy to install. Works great.
Thanks to a crazy unexpected Texas winter freeze, my washer hose split. I hit the washer button, and I could see washer fluid running all down the front corner of the truck. So I ordered this hose to replace the one with the hole. Once I got the old one off, I discovered a 1/2" hole, which would explain the big spraying leak near the battery. I did take this new hose out of the package and let it sit for a few days. By the time I got around to installing it, this hose had regained its original shape. The installation couldn't have gone any smoother. The whole installation took me around 15 minutes. And I have a fully functioning windshield washer again.
