This 7x4.7 inch magnifying sheet is very handy and works exactly as expected. It provides clear magnification without distortion, making small print much easier to read. Nice quality Fresnel lenses (pk of 8) that are clear and without distortion. Just the right size for a project. A lens like this changes the appearance of a flat object and also makes a 3-dimensional object more 3d! Not magic, just optics. Each lens comes in it's own clear plastic envelope to keep it clean. The ridged-surface of the front will collect dust and grime, but it can also be flipped so that the smooth flat surface of the other side is facing out and is much easier to wipe clean with a soft cloth. Lenses are rigid, thick plastic with a thin black border that doesn't get in the way.

Extremely practical! Perfect for reading small print. This fresnel lens is a great size (approx 7"×4.5")- portable, thin & light to carry around, and/or keep in a book. Slightly flexible so as not to break, like glass, but sturdy enough to not bend or wobble while reading. Easy to clean & dry. The black frame helps focus the view to the middle of the lens, as well as find it if you leave it on a table or wherever you read. Individually packaged, so super convenient to give as gifts to those who need or want one (only 1 black soft pouch). Grateful for such a small, simple thing that is totally worth it if it can improve someone's quality of life, at least in one way.

Enlargement is great for eyesight challenged seniors

The only way to get 3X magnification is hold the magnifier away from the page. Laying flat on the page gives minimal magnification. So before you purchase decide want you really want/need in a magnifier.

I got these primarily to help me see more detail in animal tracks with my aging eyes, and they work very well for as light as they are and the large size makes viewing easy. The caution is this: they are profound fire starters. I got them in the fall and took them out to try. The concentrated white dot led me to feel the heat on my hand. One set a damp leaf to smoldering in under a minute. They would be excellent fire starters as well in clear weather...whether or not you're trying to start one!

I give these to folks in the nursing home to help them read their Bibles. They are so happy to have them!

I had accidentally broke the hard plastic magnifier and I needed for my studies. When I saw this one was flexible I picked it up. It has been a godsend that I have it.

i recently had cataract surgery and am now wearing bifocals. i was hoping that this would be better than bifocals when cooking and reading a recipe. but no such luck. With my bifocals i still have trouble reading small print on medication bottles and again i thought this would be useful - but its blurry and not helpful at all. you are better off with a magnifying glass

Extremely light and portable. I bought the multipack so that I can leave them around the house wherever I need to see books or letters if I forget to bring one. I have just had cataract lens replacement surgery and now cannot see anything closer than arms length now, and I have become intolerant of glasses, so I was looking for a convenient replacement to read books and see my phone clearly and these are just the job. They are not perfect as they do smudge a bit and it takes practice to get the distance right but just a few days after surgery they have helped me use my phone and read with ease. I attached a thin neck strap to one just as an experiment and it makes them even better as I can rest the lens against my chest and free my hands to hold the phone. Lovely They also attract the surrounding light and send it to the page which can be helpful or annoying according to my needs but it's a bit like having a built in reading light in certain circumstances. Bonus. The price is great value and they come with a protective pouch and each one is in a plastic cover which I have left on to prevent scratches and they still work very well even in the plastic so you get a choice of how you want to use them.

Not too sure about 3 x magnification but it certainly improves reading capability. More than happy, especially at this price. Comes with a handy pouch which will prevent scratching !
