These are great plates. Used for my father who has a tremor. They stay in place because of the rubber on the bottom, and allow him to push the food onto his utensil by using the rim on the edge. He got several other people at the assisted living using them because they make it easier for them to be self-reliant. We washed them in the dishwasher also.

Bought two scoop plates several months ago. Our family member is unable to fully use his hands. These plates have been a tremendous help, enabling him to scoop up food from a utensil after it has been placed in his hand. One tip - he prefers the scoop edge facing him as he finds it easy to scoop food towards himself. These plates are sturdy, easy to clean. They do not slide on the table. It has made our family member have a sense of regained independence and exercises his hands and arms. Highly recommend for anyone with difficulty feeding themselves.

These plates are awsome. The person that I got them for is blind. She can hold onto the side of the plates and they don't slide around. Thank you soooooo much for making a sturdy product

To big . Mom did not like it. Older people do not eat a big portion and no lid available so you can store excess food.
