Initially this seemed like a good buy. Sits in tripod mount well. It is well made a fits a Sony Xperia phone. Later discovered a Benro version as well as an Ulanzi Crab which I prefer but already lost.

Compact and seemed sturdy. Note that while it has a quick release plate, the actual phone holder part requires a allen key to fasten and unfasten. Allen key not provided. I'm sure the allen screw means it stays in place quite well but honestly quite a faff that I need another tool to use it. Returned it and replaced with a different product that was just as strong but fully tool-less.

This is a really neat unit and can be used either as a simple Arca compatible flat plate for a camera and it can convert into a phone clamp. I purchased this unit to replace a nylon phone clamp which disintegrated due to poor build quality. I am pleased to report that the K&F unit is solid, robust and well built. The burnt orange colour is nice, it makes it easier to see in the depths of a dark camera bag. There is great attention to detail, the built-in rubber grips will help stop rotation when using with a camera and also will protect the edges of the phone when using as a clamp. Other nice features include a security feature that you cannot angle the plate until you extend the unit. It was good to see a security screw on the base of the plate to stop the camera accidently sliding when fitted to a clamp. Having a cold shoe for attaching other devices such as microphones or flashes. There is a ¼” screw hole to allow the unit to be fitted on an extension arm – all in all, a really neat little unit, great combination of design and features at a great price.

Same as the one that comes with the tripod, very well made. Bought this as a second mount so I did not have to swap from camera to camera.
