Works for me. Order smaller than what they say.
I've been wearing one of these for a month now, it works well for me. I just ordered a 2nd one so I can have one to wear while the other is being washed. I wear a 34" waist on my pants and I ordered their "medium" size, which is the smallest. When I followed their measuring instructions, which say measure at the hips not waist, I came up with over 42" because the measuring tape goes across my butt when it is down at my hips. HOWEVER, this device is NOT worn at the hips and does not go across the butt. Yes it is worn a little below the waist of your pants, but it is located closer to the waist than the hips. If I had followed their sizing instructions then I would have ordered their "large" size, and that would probably have been too big for me. SO, if you are built like me (6'2" tall, 195 lbs, lean, 34" waist) then get their medium size and it will probably fit right. If you are unsure, lean toward smaller rather than bigger. The material has plenty of stretch and this garment needs to fit snug in order to put proper pressure on the hernia.

The velcro may fail after a while
The product works well, I was having a lot of pain just walking the dogs until I wore them. The pads are a little bulky and it was hard to fit into my jeans. Other than that, it seems well made and is very comfortable. However, the Velcro on mine has a hard time sticking to the front of the belt after a few months. I don't know why; it looks fine to me. I have not even washed them. I suspect the belt material becomes too "smooth" for the Velcro to latch on after a while. So now, I have to add more Velcro pads to it. It comprises the breathability but at least it stays in place. Maybe don't remove those 2 strips that goes under and just remove the Velcro on the side. That one is guaranteed to stick since it is the traditional looking type; i.e. one side is "hairy".

Perfect Pads Wimpy Belt
Belt is very soft and stretchy, go a size down. I also got the Enluntra brand because of the two pad sizes. But the pads are very radical, leaving an indentation. So, I took the pads from this and put velcro on the back and applied them to the better belt nice results. The pads in this one are great they cover the area better. The sizing isn't that bad, the material is just not supportive enough. If I could get these 2 companies together, we'd have a perfect product. Buy this one and the Enluntra one and you'll be glad you spent the money.

Very good quality. Large is a bit loose.
I saw my doctor and am having a hernia repair next month. He suggested this belt. I wasn’t wearing any support prior. I’m 160 lbs and a 34” waist. My doctor suggested a large. Not to tight. I got the belt today, it is great quality, very well made but I'm maxed at the adjustments and it still seems it could be tighter. If it seems to loose I can tighten it, time will tell. Im glad I got it, well built, good support. Just Double check the sizing.

Amazed at how well it helps
Found out recently I’m dealing with an inguinal hernia. Without this belt I have a constant dull, aching pain in the groin area which also seems to migrate to my lower back. I consulted a surgeon who told me the success rate for the surgery is maybe 50/50. A friend told me to try one of these belts. Now, a few weeks after trying this belt, the pain almost completely vanishes. I was very skeptical before trying it. But 100% sold now. And I feel like I should think seriously about getting the operation. I guess my only reservation is that the straps can irritate the skin a little. But I am really happy with this purchase.

Not long lasting
I have worn this product for a month. Since a week ago the velcro no longer works, I have to keep adjusting. 1 star because the product is comfortable to wear throughout the day. Wish this was made with some type of clasp instead of velcro.

Seriously, received it yesterday, washed it & wore it today & wish I had known these things existed a few months ago when my hernia first developed. I've been on a waiting list for a hernia operation for the past two months and of course been suffering with pain so bad at times I had to lie on my stomach to slowly "work" the large protruding bump (the size of a tennis ball) back into my belly. This belt has held things into place all day allowing me to get on with my activities without feeling any pain! Still looking forward to being operated, but at least the wait won't be as painful from now on. Highly recommended.

Purchased the Champion Belt as it was the only one available locally and I needed one quickly to help relieve my pain. Decided to get a back-up just incase and now I had time to shop around. Read the reviews on the Tenbon and decided to give it a try. I found it more comfortable than the Champion and was good to wear doing daily routines. I wear the Champion when doing more rigorous chores...ie...shoveling snow. The Tenbon is well made and worth the small cost .

I can not believe how much this belt helped me before surgery. I'm telling you, it was like night and day, before wearing it, I couldn't stand any longer then an hour and when I put it on, I could stay on my feet all day long. I've had the surgery over a year ago now but I still use this belt occasionally if I feel that I might be putting to much strain on myself doing certain duties.
