Best Mini Ice Cube Tray -Easy to Remove Ice
I love these trays! Easy to use, Sturdy. TIP: Use lollipop sticks to stack them in the freezer because they have no stand-offs for stacking. Flexible Silicone Ice Cube Trays have their place, but I find them extremely frustrating for mini-cubes (time-consuming, messy, and difficult to remove the ice), which I use mainly for blender / blended applications, especially where I make slushies!! By the time I get the ice out, I am frustrated past my tolerance. I find THIS type of Solid Tray for Mini Ice Cubes can be Frustration Free !!! BUT you need to have a good METHOD for RELEASING the ice, or it can be almost as difficult, messy, and time-consuming to remove the ice as it is with a flexible silicone tray. So, FWIW, here's my method for releasing mini-cubes... 1) Remove the tray from the freezer and let stand 5 to 10 minutes -depending on how warm it is in the kitchen. (This is the key.) 2) Lay out a sheet of aluminum foil for catching the ice, generously larger than the tray 3) Hold the Tray upside down over the foil, ...Grasping the ends and then gently Twisting back and forth. - Takes me about 3 twists to cleanly release practically all the ice -every time! - If any cubes are left, then holding the tray from one end in one hand, I gently smack it onto my other hand a couple times (over the foil-catch). 4) Dispense the ice into your container(s) by Grasping the ends of the Aluminum Foil from opposite ends, Lifting up the catch, and pour~funneling (so to speak) the ice in a controlled manner. That's it. ========= I used to run water over the icetray (top, then bottom) to try to achieve this same "releasing affect", but it never really quite worked. I would always end up wrestling (endlessly) with the tray anyway, lots of cubes not releasing, ...and by the time all said and told, some of the ice is cracked some melting ...just a messy disaster. And If you freeze mixed juices in these mini-trays, releasing ice the old way ...losses are even worse. Doing it my new way -its smooth sailing every time, and great manageable frozen cubes all down the line. Now, I never have a cube left behind, a half-melted mess, cracked cubes, ...and I never struggle with the tray. ALL the ice remains whole and hard until I use it or get it back into the freezer (in a baggie). Very efficient, and very easy. To be honest, I didn't think it was possible to overcome the struggle factor with mini-cubes, hence why I posted this. Maybe it will help someone else ;^)

Handy Dandy Baby Ice For The Blender
So we were trying to make smoothies with regular ice cubes in the blender. They were not chopping well. So we threw in the ice crumbs from the bottom of the ice bin. That solved the problem! Use small bits of ice. But not enough ice crumbs are made with each breaking of the ice cubes, so we knew we needed a solution to make small ice. We’d love to have one of the nugget ice maker machines, but tell that to the checkbook! So ice trays were the next most economical choice. We were happy to find these particular trays because they are plastic. That’s much easier to put and stack into our ice spot in the freezer than the silicone trays. To position those, you need much more maneuverability in the freezer. Our freezer is too full of food to spread out ice trays. So these looked like the perfect solution. The order arrived super-fast. Less than 24 hours after we had the idea to make small ice, they’re in hand, washed, and in the freezer! Ice trays are, by nature, super easy to fill under the faucet. Why some people think there has to be a trick to filling ice trays, we don’t know. It’s only obvious that you don’t fill them to the brim or there will be a sheet of ice on the top. Filling just the cups is perfect. Getting the ice out was as easy as expected. Twist the tray and the cutest little cubes pop out. They look like nugget ice, but because it’s a solid bit of water, it doesn’t look as airy or crunchy as true nugget ice. But we wanted them for the blender to chop up, not to eat. Voila! They worked perfectly in the blender on our next batch of smoothies. We will be keeping these cubes in stock for that purpose and to put in regular drinks. Overall, initial impressions are positive. We like the ease of use and the size of the ice. (And on a superficial level, the pretty blue color of the trays is a winner, too.) Three seems to be a good number for a set. Four may have been a better set, but ordering two sets and having six seems like too many. We hope they will last through repeated use without breaking. After all, our regular ice trays came with the refrigerator and have lasted over 25 years of daily use. One can only be so lucky with currently manufactured goods.

Id buy again
Great product for the perfect sized ice. They are hard to use when trying to get them out. The trays do not twist very well to jar the ice. They serve their purpose and freeze ice well.

Perfect little ice bullets
I have been searching for small ice cubes to put in water bottles and soda. This is perfect! Small bullet shaped ice cubes that are perfect sized.. I made the mistake of over filling one tray and it was difficult to remove. I would have liked a bit more flexibility in the plastic but it's not that important. They freeze quickly and one tray keeps my beverages in the stainless steel tumbler ( Yeti) cold for hours. I'm probably going to order more. I have found they can be a bit difficult to remove. I put one tray inside a gallon storage bag, use a wooden spoon to hit the back of the tray and they all pop out. I haven't noticed any odd smell from the plastic as some have complained about. 3/27/18: I bought 3 more trays and got rid of the old fashioned larger ice cube trays. The new ones are more flexible than the previous ones so all the ice bullets came out.I emptied 4 trays into a gallon storage bag and none have stuck together. The beverage stays colder longer especially in the double wall stainless steel mugs and tumbler. I have been using these daily for over 6 months and am still pleased! It takes 2 trays to fill my 30 ounce Yeti and the ice lasts for at least 10-12 hours depending on if I add fluid or keep only ice in it. I have 6 trays in the freezer at all times and I never run out. A tray freezes in about 2-3 hours depending on the temperature of your freezer. I am ordering 3 more!!

Everyone that comes to our house loves these mini ice cubes. I have a container that I pour them into once they're set and every single day I have to fill the trays to add more to it. They are the perfect to chew on and not break your teeth and they fit into every single water bottle we have. They're super easy to remove, just twist a few times and if a few are stuck in the holes I just bang the tray on the container and they pop out

I like the perfect size of these cubes for smoothies and a narrow opening top water bottle. Note that filling the trays requires slow water pressure for filling or the water skips over the cube forms. Easy to remove! Good product.

I love eating ice cubes, and these are a perfect size for just that. Its easy-ish to get the ice cubes out as well, but it does take me 3-4 cycles of twist and smack to get them out, and even then I have a couple stray cubes that refuse to budge. Would be nicer if there was an option to get a bigger surface area tray so that I’d only have to reload and empty two trays instead of 3, since I can get through these small cubes pretty darn quickly

These cubes are the perfect size for iced coffee - will keep things cold and give that characteristic tinkling sound. The trays work best being fully emptied on one go onto a plate or big bowl and then immediately stored in a vessel with a lid (they’re small, so will melt together if left out too long). It’s also important to not overfill the trays, or your cubes won’t separate well.

While the cubes are a perfect little size for cocktails, it is a hit and miss as far as them releasing easily. Most pop out no problem but 10 or so are very stubborn. One of the trays snapped in half while trying to release the cubes. At this price, it is pretty frustrating.
