Finally, an HDMI switch that just works. Setup took minutes, the 4K picture is crisp, and switching between devices is smooth with no lag. The remote is super handy, and it plays nicely with my PS5 and streaming devices. Zero complaints.

I can't say much about the compatibility but I can say it works with the fire tv ,pc, Nintendo switch and a projector basically everything in my house that has HDMI. The fact that you can switch between the HDMI makes it simple so I won't have to keep disconnecting the HDMI and connecting.

For the price this switch is a great deal and gets the job done. I've been using it for about a week to switch between a PC, Xbox Series X and a cable box sharing a single monitor. The picture quality and sound have been perfect. Switching can be accomplished by pressing the button on the unit or plugging in a wired remote sensor. While a lot of people don't see the point in the wired sensor, it's fantastic when the switch is laying on the floor behind the entertainment center and the remote won't work. Bring the wire to the front and the remote works reliably every time. UGreen even supplied a piece of double sided tape to mount it. I had to supply my own power supply for the micro-USB connection. The switch will not function without power. My only complaint and a reason I knocked off a star is the switch automatically changes to the next active input when the current input is turned off. In my setup, the cable box is always active. Every time I turn off the Xbox or PC, the input jumps to the TV signal. I have to select one of the inactive sources using the remote to keep the monitor from staying on. This won't be an issue for people using a regular TV that gets turned off every time. I like to let my monitor go into power save mode instead of using the power button every time. Otherwise, it's a great compact switch that hopefully lasts a good while.

Long Story I'll try to keep it short my TV only has 2 HDMI ports for at the time it was enough for my Nividia and PS4 with a eye in the future to get a Blu Ray Player. So I figured I might as well start looking into my HDMI situation so my first switch was alright it was 4 in 1 out with a Optical out Nividia worked flawless but the CEC with the PS4 didn't but hey no Biggie I just have to manually switch to play. I went back to the comments of this switch and came across a thread where someone got the 8k Version of the switch from the same company and CEC worked so I started the return process of the first switch and ordered the 8k but same result so I was hey alright not what I wanted not perfect but still functional and I got additional HDMI for my Blu Ray. So about a little over a week has passed and will on the Amazon app I came across a Sony Blu Ray for $78 and jumped on it now it's time to hook it up with the switch Oh-Oh no CEC couldn't use my TV remote had to go with the player's one wasn't happy but it work. Now here the problem started I could go between the PS4 and Nividia with no problems but switch to the Blu Ray no signal only way to get Blu Ray was to turn off the switch back on set to input to play That was No Go now glad I got that Blu Ray or I would have been stuck with this switch so Now I got this for return now and now I was just bout to go back to just two HDMI ports and play the swap out game between the Blu Ray and PS4 til I said something has to be out there that can work so back to Amazon app I was about to purchase two different ones before I came across this Ugreen don't know what but I decided to get this one Man from the Pics I knew this item was small but when it arrived I was like dang this is really small no way this going to work the two switches I had before was 2 3x the size and couldn't do job so I know this little poor thing was dud so let hook it up and let start another return. Don't judge a book by its cover this Little Device is a Monster CEC is for my PS4 and Blu Ray don't really need the remote unless I want to go between the PS4 and Blu Ray and unlike the two previous switches, and a tip I got from YouTube comments when I was waiting for delivery, I don't have to use the power cord the PS4 and Blu Ray give its power this Ugreen came thru like a Champ

Excellent device. With the remote it is worth every penny I paid for it. Easy to set and use.

Using this on my old 2006 LG LCD TV that has only two HDMI ports. It works well. Has a wired, infrared maybe(?), toggle that allows you to switch ports. You may find that the port switching is a little slow - but that could also just be my old TV. Anyway, it works well - you just have to remember what device is in what numbered port. The remote has a 'next' button, but also a 1, 2 and 3. So put your most used device on '1', etc.

I bought this item for work since I have multiple people connecting to a TV to present, and while it does do the job decently, its important to note a couple of things. 1) When you switch inputs , it will temporarily black out everyones screen who is connected to this - while this in itself isnt bad, but I had multiple people complain while we were switching between people. 2) the remote is finicky - I thought it was a battery issue, and replaced it with a fresh one, but I still have to be literally inches away from the receiver for it to work ( yes, I made sure I plugged in the power / seated the cable correctly) . For the price point, I really can't complain (it does get the job done), but in hindsight, I would have paid double the amount for something that had a solid remote connection and didnt interrupt others screens when switching.

I was so excited to get this in so quickly..... and then my heart sank when I realized the product I received was entirely useless and did NOT work as was advertised. I plugged this in to my devices in literally every condonation of plugging in all the devices I could think of. I plugged in my cabled in every way that I could think of the plug them in. From 3 to 1 versus 1 to 3 devices as in both possible directions. I made sure it was plugged into a known good (-and double checked and once again found to be known good) power source and made sure I plugged in the IR receiver cable into the switch box and not even the remote worked and yes, I pulled out the plastic tab and even replaced the battery and tried flipping around the brand new battery I bought assuming that the battery that came inside the remote was just dead and not even a brand new battery made even just the remote work. I was using known good and verified good hdmi cables as in I plugged in the same hdmi cable to a screen and it worked then I plugged those very exact same hdmi cable into the switch aaaaaaaaand litterally nothing. I simply could not get this switch to work AT ALL. I tried different known good and reverified good power sources, I DID even try a different known good cable and reverified known good hdmi cable just to pile on to just how useless this product was. the ONLY reason I gave it two stars is the possible chance that I just so happen to get a dud but the product I DID receive was a piece of litteral plastic garbage..... actually you know what? it isnt entirely useless it could be considered a very very very weak light source because the ONLY thing that it did do was light up and the button did change around where the lights on the front lit up but as far as a display device? an electronic pet rock is more useful that this was as a display device. Its at least a good thing I got this on Amazon so that I can return it for a refund so I can get a proper hdmi SPLITTER.
