Hella H4 YL Xtreme Yellow Bulb (12V 60/55W), 2 Pack

If you want the yellow headlight look without using tint, these are amazing. They’re a very deep yellow, but they’re also nice and bright.

Delivered a whole lot faster than I expected was a good start. Bulbs were well packed and in very good condition on arrival, with no damage whatsoever. These hella yellow H4 were bought to use in my VW Scirocco after the previous bulbs, Osran NightBreaker Plus, gave up and popped after about 4 years of use. On comparison, the design of the two types in terms of filament size and position looked absolutely identical so I felt a sense of confidence that the new Hella Yellow would give a good beam pattern and cutoff. After installation all I can say is “Wow”! They are equally bright as the Osram NightBreaker, equal beam pattern and cutoff but that glorious golden colour :) My Scirocco looks like a GT3 car! They give much higher contrast at night so everything looks clearer and sharper and they don’t dazzle oncoming traffic even when using full beam. These are my favourite bulbs I’ve ever used and now I want matching H3 ones to use in my foglights. Highly Recommended

Absolutely nothing Xtreme about the yellow, no more yellow than a standard halogen bulb. The bulb itself may be yellow in colour but this has no effect on the light output. Waste of money.

Bulb did work ok, but totally inadequate packing! There was no foam protection on the bulb itself and bulb had come out of the box which was flatterned in an only very slightly padded envelope. A miracle it worked

Light was bright enough but definitely not extreme yellow. Better buying a yellow tinted film or a tub of the paint on stuff if you’re looking for a yellow headlight

I loved the actual bulb and the yellow light for adverse weather, however they failed after only 4 months. I always wear gloves whilst installing new bulbs so I know my fingers did not play a part in the bulb failure.

Arrived poorly packaged, just in their branded boxes then in a padded envelope. One box was crushed, but luckily the bulb was undamaged and (so far) works OK.

Product information was correct. Service was very fast.
