Good Case At An Excellent Price
This case is exactly what I expected for paying $23.The frame is aluminium and the walls are made of hardened pressed paperboard (like a thin wood, almost) with a textured black laminate. Don't expect it to take a serious hit or a multistory drop. It isn't "ruggedized".The pluck foam, egg carton foam, and liner foam are of a good quality. The foam is a bit staticy and a little coarse but is excellent for its intended use.I am not using this case for camera equipment. I needed something to carry a matched set of brushless micro quadcopters. One is 90mm from motor post to motor post and the other is 100mm (they are 2 inch prop sized). Aside from those two items I can also fit 4 batteries, a Runcam 2, a micro cam in its mount, tools, spare parts, the manuals, and other little do-dads all in this case. I also have cut a slot to hold the shoulder strap in the lid of the case (see photos). In a few months I will be building a 3 inch prop freestyle quadcopter. This is the case I will get for that one as well. This case would also be good for RC control transmitters or FVP goggles.

Just the right size and great value
I purchased this item to use in storing and transporting my imaging camera for EEA (video astronomy). The box has pluck foam padding which is perfect so I can personalize the main padding to fit the camera for a tight fit. The case is big enough that I also have room for all the cables.I will be buying another case from this seller in the near future for other astronomy equipment I have.

Good, not great
You definitely get what you pay for... standard strong case. I've had mine now for over a month and use it a lot. The hinges still keep strong, but they are getting looser... With proper care, this will last for a while. I don't think that they are built for durability, but more for decent carrying for your equipment. They are good... god enough that I bought another one! However, I know that I just need to realize that these are means for heavy durability, just for safely carrying your equipment.

$30 quality for ~$20. I can't complain.
This isn't a great case; however, it'll do well enough for what I got it for. That was to provide me a single case to hold my Vivitar Macro Bellows system and a cheap no-name bellows with Canon EOS/EF adapters.I was able to pick-n-pluck holes for 4 items in an hour. With that it stores the Vivitar Bellows, Vivitar Focusing Rail, Vivitar Macro Stand, and the no-name, very cheap bellows for Canon. The case is OK. It isn't likely to survive a 6 ft (2m) fall onto a corner. I will, however, protect the contents well enough against scrapes and bangs often suffered during car travel. I would not check it in at the airport as I suspect it wouldn't arrive intact. The foam is also just OK. It isn't real dense. I have much better pick-n-pluck foam I've used in other projects. Nevertheless, I think it will do the job it needs to for a few years at least. For ~$20 I wasn't expecting Pelican quality and durability. I think it's worth the money I paid for it and should a need come up, I'd buy it again.

Excellent design but came damaged
First the design is the best I've seen so far and I have bought several cases for things like drones and building equipment. The top of the case is lined with egg shell foam. You get 2 half inch sheets of foam to put under the segmented middle foam. What I really like is that the segmented section has a sold border that isn't segmented. Excellent design! However, when I saw the flimsy packaging of the case and that it wasn't put in an Amazon box, that there was probably going to be damage. There was. One corner was broken in. Not terrible enough for me to go through the trouble of sending back, so I got out the Elmers glue and a clamp and did a repair job. It's sitting in the kitchen drying right now so I can't say if it worked very well. But it will be ok for my needs.

A small, strong case with wide applications
It is durable, comes with a useful handle and inside foam accessories so that you can custom arrange the inside for your particular camera or other item. It has wide applications and I happen to use it for handheld amateur radios and related equipment. It is very protective of the inside contents and has good quality latches. If you measure what you want to put into it, and it fits the case dimensions, you will find this little case a great purchase.

Nice solid little case
I've seen hard cases with customizable foam like this go for a lot more. I'm sure there's perhaps some differences, this isn't memory foam or anything, however for anything but the roughest of use, this is pretty good for cameras and other electronics and very customizable to exactly the size you need. I was happy for the price.

Perfect!
I used this case to store my fishing electronics when traveling to and from the lake. The versatility and pricing are spot on. I'm not banging this thing around, so I'm not looking for a bulletproof, fireproof, waterproof, overly commercial case! Perfect!
