A Cool Performer
The Corsair 400d is a fantastic mid-tower case that excels in one crucial area: cooling. Its thoughtfully designed airflow channels and generous ventilation ensure that your components stay cool under even the heaviest workloads. Here's why I'm impressed: Excellent Airflow: The 400d features ample front, top, and rear intake vents, allowing for optimal airflow throughout the case. Smart Cable Management: The case includes dedicated cable routing channels and tie-downs, making it easy to keep your build clean and tidy, further improving airflow. Supports High-End Components: You can easily fit high-end graphics cards, CPU coolers, and multiple drives within this case. For those bigger GPU’s simply remove the fairing from inside the case. Easy to Build In: The 400d has a spacious interior and tool-less drive bays, making the building process a breeze. Stylish Design: The case has a sleek, modern aesthetic that will look great in any setup. Overall: The Corsair 400d is a strong contender in the mid-tower market. If you prioritize excellent cooling performance and a user-friendly build experience, this case is an excellent choice. I hope this review is helpful!

Looks great, works great
Fantastic case I had never built a PC before but found it very easy - there was lots of room and plenty of cable management options in this case My components are all cool and the included fans arent too noisy Contains USB C on the case too which is a huge benefit.

Excellent all-round
Bought this for a recent build project - it's fantastic. The top panel has lots of ventilation and room for multiple fans, as does the back. You could even put one over the PSU. And three on the front. Or mount an AIO or radiator on the side. There's PLENTY of room to do decent cable management and fit all those fan RGB cables, and an RGB controller. And multple SSDs and HDDs in the dedicated bays, which come with easy-screws. Every aspect of this case is finished to a high standard, from the machining, to the blasting and painting. Every hole is pristine, every surface is smooth. And, because you'll want to see inside, the tempered glass is very solid. Both panels pop off easily, so you don't need screwdrivers if you need to hot-swap or have a look inside, or do whatever you're doing. I may be biased, but it's also GREAT as a single-chamber. Nothing to worry about, but PLENTY of room with the access slot for PCIe/Mobo/SATA cables. It'll fit a full ATX with a chunky 7900XTX and still have room for a little bobble-head. Minor criticisms: Plastic feet and front panel trim could be a slightly higher quality or better finish, and they don't seem to match the case 100%. Might be worth removing and painting, if you're that bothered. The rear slot covers slide into a groove and are secured on one side with a screw. This can cause resonant vibration at certain frequencies. For someone like me with hyperacusis, it is HORRENDOUS. Easily solved with a tiny bit of adhesive putty. Overall: Excellent value for money, great build quality, and even looks like it might withstand some customising and machining.

A decent value case...
I upgraded the processor in my PC and the new device was running hotter than I liked on the stock cooler. The old case was quite old and too small to take a modern cooling solution, so I decided to do a complete rebuild. I didn't want some silly looking gaming case that lights up like a Christmas tree - this is a serious work PC. The Corsair 4000D Airflow seemed to fit the bill and at less than £90. I was pleasantly surprised - it is easy to work on, has plenty of space for a reasonably high performance cooler, and it looks quite tasteful. I would not have chosen a glass side panel, but it is smoked glass and provided the fans are not all illuminated, you are not really aware of it. Cable routing is quite easy. My only criticism is that the positioning of the power supply can make cables a bit of a tight fit. I've installed a Corsair PSU which should have been a good match, but I've still had to install extensions on the SATA power cables in order to route to the recommended SSD bay locations. I've seen it criticised as being a bit boring. I guess that it is for a hard-core teenage games PC builder, but for an old fogey like me building a serious work or hobby PC, it is pretty close to perfect.

1 year update: Stylish and sleek case, but it creaks harder than my back in the morning
Pros: + Great airflow if you have front intake and back + rear exhaust (idle CPU temps in autumn/winter: 25 deg, GPU 45 deg) + Looks like this is the case Batman would use + Very elegant and smooth looking case + Overall decent case not much else you could want from it although the glass front (and side intake instead) would be nice too Cons: - it was pretty damn hard to fit in to the front the 360 AIO (3x 120mm fans) which is a standard size of AIO for this case - after a few months it started creaking a lot like in a daunting house from the 80s film (video) - small detail but when you put your PC to sleep the white light lit power button flashes on and off quite strongly which makes me wanna turn of the PC instead - not sure if its just my case but the fan dust filter isnt aligned well with the frame and it pops out

The first time builder: roomy, sleek, easy to build in!
As a first time PC builder, this case has provided me with everything I could've asked for. In-built cable management systems with rear straps and spares included (with zip ties!), massive high quality dust filters on the front, top and PSU bottom. Thumbscrews on the glass and metal panels that stay on after unscrewing, easy to slide in and lock in the panels. The airflow, the main feature of this case does not disappoint. The case has a huge amount of available breathing room with the massive front filter and great placement of vents and holes. I put three 120mm fans up front and it intakes all the air my build could ask for! Building inside the case was easy and with the inbuilt cable management, a breeze. Would recommend, especially for first time builders who aren't confident in messing around in unconventional, larger or smaller cases.

One of the best Airflow cases.
I’m very impressed with this case, I’ve built 4 different PC’s this year and this case is probably the best one I used in a build so far. It was a joy to build in. The build quality is high and everything went together easily with no problems. Nice airflow to keep components cool, which was the main reason I chose this case. Plenty of space for cable routing and places to cable tie loose cables. Another thing to note is that if you are into RGB fans then they show up nicely through the front of this case. The front panel and mesh filter are easily removed making the job of cleaning dust very easy compared to many other cases. If you are buying this case I recommend buying a couple of extra 120mm fans for the front intake. Although it does come with one in the back and front you can fit another 2 in the front. If I had to find anything to complain about I guess I could say the hard drive trays feel a little cheap and plastic compared to others who use metal. But this was not a problem for me and overall I’m very impressed with this case. I even bought another one for my girlfriends PC :)

Keeps your pc cool!
Great airflow and easy to clean. One of the best tower cases for modern pcs! Very big but worth it for quality airflow.
