I wanted to love this phone, but it turned out to have way too many problems. The processor was slower than my old flip-phone. There were lots of web pages and apps that wouldn't load. The older android version could not be upgraded. The last straw for me was the phone shutting down on its own when I really needed to make a phone call. Maybe because I bought it used, but seller described it as in working conditions

I loved this phone due to it's all size & physical keyboard (my two main criteria for smartphones). Unfortunately, it only works on Verizon network, contrary to the product description, "Very versatile phone featuring a touchscreen, full QWERTY slide-out keyboard, bluetooth, camera, and more. It is also sim card unlocked from the factory in case you travel outside of the USA." I specifically bought it based on this & to be able to use it as a travel phone with foreign SIM cards, but seeing as it doesn't even work with non-Verizon US-based SIMs, I have to return it. I hope they change the product description to more clearly state this phone is only for Verizon customers.

this phone comes as-is from the refurbished section. i've had good experience buying from Amazon's refurbished product list and this was another example of their high standards even for used products. it came with the box and charger (both wall AC adapter plug and USB plug-in). This phone needs a SIM card, and will remind you often every time you try to do something on it until you purchase one. I wanted to keep my StraightTalk number, so contacted them for a SIM card, got one and installed with no trouble. The phone itself has touch controls on the screen and can be a bit oversensitive to common handling, especially if you tend to have bigger fingers. the keyboard works well, the picture is crisp and clear to read, and have had very few problems with dropped calls, etc. The volume for ringtones, phone conversations, etc all need to be set quite loud in order to hear properly, but I often use the speakerphone feature so that's really not much of an issue. Apps download and install well, but tend to drop if you're running more than 2 or 3 apps at a time. it gets a bit annoying but you just need to prioritize what you're doing and be willing to restart the apps. The apps i most have problems with are the ones that use video and/or games. I don't have a need for extra storage on the phone as of yet, so can't comment on that part.

I am a fan of this phone. I actually replaced the one I bought is 2012 with this slightly newer version in 12/2016. I like having both touch screen & a attached keyboard. This new phone gets the new emogies.So now when my boyfriend sends me a kissy face or a palm tree I can actually see it instead of getting a blank retangle. So far everything I have tried works well with this phone. Oh yeah. the box looks old like it was sitting in a warehouse for 4 years, but once you open the box, the phone & everything that comes with it appears brand new (which is why I paid $100 bucks). I also put in a request to Samsung Custermer Service/Suggestion to bring back an updated version of this type of phone (both touch screen & attached keyboard). If a few more people make the same request, maybe they will start making them again.

I downgraded from a Galaxy S3 mini (that's as big as I want my phone to be if I can control it) because I missed the physical keyboard. I have no regrets. I had to get used to the programming as it is an older version of Android and there's a couple things that bug me but I can't change them and I'm getting used to them as I use the phone more. I had a hard time finding a case I like but ebay had a cheap case that does the job. As long as this phone works, I'm sticking with the physical keyboard. I love it! At almost 27 years old I'm the odd one out for wanting an older style of phone but I only wish I would've bought it sooner.

THis phone was my son's birthday present. It works beautifully and looks brand new. Thank you for saving me $170 (I have the same phone and purchased it for approx $200. I bought this phone for$29 something on Amazon), and thank you for making my son's dreams come true...I could not have afforded it otherwise).!!

Glitchy phone! I believe I got a lemon. Didn't get it sent back in time. (my fault :( ) My first smart phone and it was stupid. Going back to my not so smart but reliable phone.
