These were cute and easy to make. I did substitute fabric paint and pens for the buttons and eyes. These worked well.

I was asked to make memory memory bears from my deceased toddler grandson's clothes for his three siblings. I wasn't able to find a pattern small enough to use his tiny clothes. Instead, my grandchildren chose this pattern and I am using his crib sheets. The animals are easy to sew (aside from the fact that I don't care much for stretchy fabric). The animals are adorable and sit solidly. There is a lot of "waste" fabric due to the two piece per animal patterns, but I cut that into 2" squares and am also putting together a patchwork pillow for Mom.

Once you taken the time to cut and sort the pattern pieces it's just a case of cut the fabric and follow the assembly instructions. The instructions are clear and direct with each step and sewing term explained so even if you're a beginner you can still make a lovely item without being overwhelmed by lots of terms you aren't familiar with yet. The printing is crisp and clear making cutting out the pieces really easy, same with the instructions again clear printing and easy to read. Another lovely pattern from this range and will certainly not hesitate to get more.
