Install b4 you put your roof on it will be a lot easier!
This windshield is nice but still over priced.

If it could also be able to not have to open it all the way like just vent sometimes

Requires lots of patience.
Took lots of adjusting and even lengthening some holes to get everything to work properly. Still squeaks bad likes it in a bind.

Doesn’t fit right and top hinges were broke so had to rig it up to work

Windshield does not close correctly and rattles
To install this windshield it’s not super difficult. Once installed It did not latch as it was supposed to. I adjusted the bottom part where the windshield latches. This made it better but now it rattles in the closed position. This appears to be due to the metal on metal. When the windshield is open it rattles when any bump at all is hit. I have resorted to a rope from the bumper to the windshield and pulled down slightly. Not sure why but this has fixed the issue. Now I’m noticing the windshield is cracking on the hex head bolts where it latches. This could be because it takes a pressure from the outside to get it to latch. This windshield has been trouble from the beginning. I wish I would have filed a warranty claim much earlier. We purchased this on 11/20/23 so almost exactly a year ago and I’m considering taking it off after the winter passes.

Overall a terrible product
Windshield is not bad but the flip up feature is terrible. Latch will not hold and you cannot keep it adjusted. Super hard to get to shut as well as it will not hold no matter how much you adjust it.

Takes a bit of time to install. Fit is good.
The installation is not bad if you are mechanically inclined. I used a dead blow mallet to install the seal. This windshield is to block most off the wind, and unlike a modern car, you will have a gap at the top. Overall fit is good. I am happy with it. The packaging and quality were very good.

Bad Fitment on 2017 ranger xp 1000
Does not match up well to frame once assembled. Verified fit with winshield only per instruction but once assembled there are gaps at the bottom, and does not fit in frame well when closed. Spent a lot of time trying to adjust and making sure the weather striping is as tight as possible. Previously had polaris tip out windshield that fit very good. Also I am not a big fan of how much this flexes when closing. I would probably not buy again
