Very handy little device that's better than you'd expect at this price
I'd previously bought an endoscope that used wifi to connect to my phone screen using a custom app from the manufacturer, but found that they hadn't updated the app to layer versions of Android, so it's now unusable. This device has its own screen, so no such concerns. The picture was better than I was expecting, and I was able to submerge the camera in a water tank to discover why a pump was no longer working. This saved me a callout fee for a plumber to come and diagnose the problem, so it has already paid for itself. It feels like the right sort of price point to pay for a tool that I will only use occasionally. There are some extra little gadgets that clip on to the end of the camera e.g. a hook, a small magnet and a mirror. There is no pouch to contain the items, but I will just keep it in the box that it came in - it all packs away neatly enough.

exceededy expectations!
very very good. nice and small camera with good light and decent focus.great for seeing down injector bores or glow plug holes and also works well for ear canals lol. the end does get warm when using the light.video files and playback are very easy and battery life is good. seems to hold up well to knocks around the workshop. would but again for sure

Great tool for the price. Gets the job done!
I bought this to help with what I expected to be fiddly job getting a coax cable under a floor. The job could not have been more difficult and fiddly with the cable needing to pass through a very tight space with a number of different obstacles. It took several hours to navigate the 2.5m journey, but it could not have been possible without this endoscope and these amazing, yet cheap push rods https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08ZJKP8V7?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsAt numerous stages throughout the job, my rods and / or the cable got stuck on an unknown barrier. I would have had no idea how to navigate past / through these without the use of this wonderful little endoscope. The end of the probe was easily and securely fixed to my push rod with some masking tape and the light that it provided was perfect for the job. The picture quality is good but not amazing, but for the price I am thoroughly impressed. This really did the job and was amazing value for money. The only reason that I give this product 4 not 5 stars is because on the one I received, there was something wrong with the Micro SD card slot (misaligned I think) which meant that I could not insert a Micro SD card and therefore cannot take still photos. I have used the endoscope for 3 or 4 small jobs now including the main one that I describe and what mattered was the live video feed, not the ability to take photos, so for the price, this fault doesn't bother me.

Very handy gadget
I bought this to look under floorboards and it arrived next day. It is very simple to use and has no bells or whistles but it absolutely does the job. It comes with a 32 GB memory card so you can transfer images and videos to your computer. In my opinion, it is better than a camera that connects to your phone as it is so easy to get it working. The image is not the clearest in the world, but sufficient. I could not really get the tiny adaptors to work, but this did not bother me.

It's ok, screen not amazing
The Inspection Camera is easy to use, but the screen quality is not very good. The wire has just the right amount of flexibility, making it easy to maneuver. However, the overall build of the camera doesn't feel very sturdy, so it may not be suitable for heavy or rough use. It should be fine for light use though. Overall, it's a straightforward tool to operate, but the screen quality and durability could be improved.

Impressive with functionality beyond its price.
I was quite surprised at the image quality of this device at optimum focal distances, which is aided by a big screen (compared to most others).I did look at the traditional design offerings (the ‘pistol grip’ type) as a couple of friends have them, but the resolution, illumination and a screen about a third of the size of this unit’s screen didn’t leave me particularly impressed. There’s little point in describing the unit and it’s functions are these are adequately (and accurately) described in the sellers information. In use, this does need some practice in terms of ‘wiggling and turning’ the probe, both to get it to where you want it, and to interpret what you are seeing which may at that point be ‘rotated’ from the ‘horizontal’ you have in your head. Once mastered, it can return an astonishingly detailed picture at optimal focal length (I’d say about 2 - 4 cm). Outside of that distance (as a pre-focused camera, it will actually see as far as you want it to), the image is less crisp, but still good.I bought this to try to track down the cause of water leaking into the boot of my car which was leaving wet carpets. I was able to feed the probe up a box section in the boot area while leaving a hose running down the car’s roof. I was able to see where the water was coming in (very satisfying), which saved me any amount of stripping -out and trim removal. It was worth its price for this alone, although I couldn’t help reflecting on many, previous situations in house and car where I wish I’d had this at my disposal. Similarly, I’m anticipating this being very useful for similar situations in the future, especially as I’m not as young as I once was and tight ‘contortionist’ spots are getting more difficult as time goes by.The last thing to comment about is the price. Some of the ‘professional’ units like this can cost three/four/five (or more) times the cost of this one. They might be more rugged for industrial use, but for DIY use this is perfectly OK.All-in-all I’m very pleased (and impressed) with this device.
