Poor quality optics
These glasses do work, but if you wear regular glasses, you will likely need to remove them in order to wear these telephoto glasses. These glasses have focus adjustments to compensate for your prescription if needed. If your vision is very poor, the focus adjustment might not be able to compensate. The optics of these glasses are about the same one would expect from the prize out of a cereal box. Very poor. You have to tilt your head and move your eyes to get around bad spots. If they would improve the optics, these would be great. I can sit about 10 feet away from the TV and read the fine print on all those drug commercials and read how sick they will make me.

They don't work
These "glasses "were overly expensive and had zero positive effect. I mean they were useless. They didn't improve my ability to see the TV at all. As I said These were a very expensive piece of plastic. They were not even a novelty as they had no positive effect. They were a total failure and waste of money and hope. My advice is to go to a optometrist get a prescription and buy glasses. True that is expensive but you can actually see unlike this product.

A BIG help for my aging eyes.
Works well for reading the computer screen and for reading mail that comes in with VERY small print.

Can be problematic to adjust based on disability.
Great concept but the person wearing has to be able to tell you when the side binocular adjustment bring vision clear. Dementia or cognitive deficits make these glasses difficult to prove benefits of wearing. They do however magnify well .

They Work
My Mom has macular degeneration. Watching TV was a blur. With these, she can make out faces much better and is satisfied with the improvement. I brought these to her doctor. He was unfamiliar with these glasses. I feel he should carry these to help his patients.

Bery small fiield oof visioon.
Besides looking weird when wearing these double glasses, the field of vision is very narrow, and the programs with small CC, that you can't enlarge, still can't be read. I will continue to use them when they are helpful, but I will continue to look for other options.

not for viewing at distances over 15 feet from TV
Positives : Low price, provides some help in seeing small print at distances under 15 feet Negative: At distances over 15 feet I found them impossible to focus. The image is in focus only is a small area of vision. This may be common to all such products but I have experience with only these.
