What more can you ask? Of course, this is a book...with a spine in the center. This means that you will have full spread reproductions that are not easily or fully viewable into the binding. Some folks seem to think that somehow this limitation is a flaw. Well, if you have an answer on how they could have avoided the problem, by all means please share! For me, I don't see how they could have done better in this smaller sized book. Great job, and thanks for the wonderful job both textually and in the plates. Just gorgeous.

The prints are beautiful. I bought it because I wanted to know more about the painting of Icarus falling into the sea. I have read very little of the book, but the little about that painting was useful.

This small art book got shipped very fast and came in undamaged. The pictures in the book are in good quality and good color representations of the original paintings. The original painting sizes are small, so I would not complain about the size of the book and picture quality. I think anyone with decent eyesight can see all the details in the pictures(I did read some negative reviews before I purchased this book). A nice addition to my art book collection!

It's a great book....unfortunately I can't afford the $200 edition, but for $25 what do you want? Of course it's nothing like seeing the paintings in person but it'll do for now.
