Men's Loose Fit Midweight Full-Zip Sweatshirt

I was scared at first. I just random purchased the item for an upcoming trip. I figured going a bit smaller on the size anyhow as I have been doing so as I get older. Seems like things keep shrinking. Hey, no dirty comments. So I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and run about 175 pounds, depending on the month and how many chili dogs I eat. The jacket color I ordered was Moss, because that don't grow on a rolling stone. Color was true to picture. Now looking at the model wearing the jacket and comparison to fit, which was a worry based on other reviews. First off I am more handsome than the model. Sorry, it is true. Asked the wife and got no answer. Yes the jacket fits like that. Look where the hem line is. If you don't know what a hem line is you just might not know what a hen weighs. Never mind. The jacket does go halfway down my privates and my booty, nice booty at that. However the rib knit! Yes the rib knit! For those that live where the wind never blows maybe you do not understand this feature. Rib knit is meant to cinch the material to prevent the wind, usually damn cold, from entering inside of the jacket. This does that perfectly. Nice job, hats off. Zipper issues? New jacket, how the hell do I know if its crap or not? Great point professional reviewers. Anyhow initially in my unprofessional opinion I love the zipper seems very solid. And the gold color adds some cool bling to my old mans jacket. The hood is awesome and, warm on my old mans bald head. However I usually find myself wearing a ball cap over my bald old bean. No problem. Pop the top up on this jacket and cinch down the strings and the wing flaps, as my wife calls my ears, are warm and protected. When you drop the top it is no problem. Reach up and grab the lips of the hood just in front of the cap and lift gently. Doing so releases the tension on the hood strings, like a good massage relieves the tension in my arthritic left knee. And drop the top. With me this method than reveals a handsome old guy wearing a cool jacket and a ball cap.. So with all of that crap under the bridge, let's look at you. Maybe you are considering purchasing this jacket. Online shopping can be hit or miss folks. My experience was very good. I always buy men's sweatshirts because it's hard to find zip-up sweatshirts for women that are good quality. This one is excellent quality. It's sturdy. It's not too fitted, which I hate. If I wanted fitted, I'd buy a pants suit. It's loose enough to wear inside in AC during summer and not overheat, but it's hefty enough to wear outside when it gets into chilly parts of autumn and winter. The value for the cost is comparable to most major brands if you're looking for quality. It's also very soft and not itchy in any of the parts that sit on your body. I don't like itchy, so that's important. May be useful for others sensitive to textures.

I’m 6’6” and 300+ lbs. When I find something that fits right, I generally buy in bulk because it’s RARE. I’ve been wearing this exact hoodie for many years and just got 2 more for Christmas. The quality and fit-consistency has not changed. I’m pretty much “all torso” (long arms; most of my height is from belt to head) and the sleeves are long enough (which is usually my biggest problem!) This, with a pair of Rothco BDU pants and a plain T-shirt is my daily “uniform” in the spring/fall/winter. I also have a couple of the Carhartt insulated hoodies for when it’s below freezing. They don’t disappoint, either.

Great sweatshirt overall the inside is soft and comfy the outside has a slightly rough texture and a heavy feel. I usually wear XL but got a L and it’s still a little roomy. My only complaint is the zipper it could be better quality. Perfect for temps in the 40s, but if it’s colder, you’ll want something thicker.

It's a good hoodie but it is big like others have said. I usually order an XL so I did, despite other reviews, and I could easily fit in the L or possibly even M. They mean "loose fit". I ordered black and the color is fine. "Mid weight" is also apt because it's thicker than my thinner hoodies, but not as thick as my thickest hoodies. I wish the hood was a bit bigger, but I feel that way about most hoodies.

This is a Carhartt, but it's just a plain gray sweatshirt. (Not complaining, but it looks like all my other gray sweatshirts, except for the Carhartt tag.) I always buy Large sweatshirts, but this one fit me like a tent, so I ordered Medium, and it fit fine. It looks to be well-made, and it's comfortable.

Fits well. I’m 6’2”, 400lbs. Feels like fleece inside. The zipper is a quality zipper. Perfect for light duty or weekend errands and chores. Feels like it will last for years if I use it casually. Perfect for California winter in the bay.

I bought this for my husband and he loves them! It's actually the second one I've bought him since he liked the other one so well. It's durable and soft.

I normally wear a size XL in regular fit, but this sweater was way too big. The zipper was reversed and awkward to close. I also wasn’t very impressed with the quality of the fabric. I ended up returning the sweater — either I was just unlucky, or the quality of Carhartt has really gone downhill.

Hoodie is made in Honduras, stitching were all ok and even zipper worked well. Black colour is dark and good too. I am 168cm and 120KG and I bought a 2XL, it is a tad long but it is ok unlike some folks who says it is a tent lol. Lucky I size down from my usual Carhartt 3XL and it is loose with enough space to layer too. Arm sleeves at just a bit long but nothing too drastic. It feels soft and not itchy as it is a mixture. Good is big enough even with a cap on it will cover well.
