Why did you choose this product over others?: I needed an amplifier with a digital input, approx. 20 to 40W per channel, and there are surprisingly few. It has turned out to be an excellent choice. It is powerful, and gives a crystal clear sound stage, comparable, I am sure, with many much more expensive amplifiers, and seems very well built. Further, for those with a lot of equipment, it is fitted with range of other (analogue) inputs, including an RIAA input for a record player. Sound quality: Excellent. Crystal clear and it drives my loudspeakers with ease. Value for money: Comparable with much more expensive amplifiers, so even though it's not cheap, it does give very good value

I had to replace a geriatric CD player that had finally ceased to function. After doing a little research I found that the Marantz fitted the bill very nicely. The sound is very clean and warm, with no trace of the clinical quality I have often found in digital sound. The functions are straightforward and no-nonsense, and the machine was very easily set up with the rest of my system. The player is often recommended as the best of the modestly priced machines, and I would concur with that.

I bought this ampflifier to replace a pm6004 from 15 years ago. That was pretty good but completely overshadowed by the PM6007, which looks almost identical but gives a quality of sound and a spaciousness to music that I had hoped for but did not fully expect. Terrific value for money for this kind of quality.

It's made my speakers come to life, they've never sounded this clean and crispy. The background fuzzy noise, especially at higher volume is gone. Not to mention the maximum capacity is insane, I haven't even taken it past 1/4 turn and it's louder than I'd ever need. Highly recommend!

Amazing sound and product quality

As we know, hi-fi is very much in the ear of the ''beholder'. I have the previous model to this, and it looks, and to me sounds exactly the same! I thought there would be an upgrade in the sound at least, but I couldn't tell, so personally I don't think it is worth the money to me and even though my old one is now conked out, I think I'm going to go for Cambridge Audio for my new amplifier, slightly more expensive, but hopefully a better sound quality. Amazon are as good as gold. They are going to let me return this, as I am not satisfied with the quality of the product. Well done them!

Classic Marantz aesthetics (which I like), solidly built integrated amplifier and easy to operate with remote control. Excellent connectivity (digital, analogue and phono stage), beefy sound production and a great pairing with my Fyne Audio speakers. No Bluetooth or network connectivity but I have these facilities through my WiiM Mini in any event. In this regard, the internal DAC works well through the optical connection. Really good (and good value) heart of a hifi stereo system and highly recommended.

I bought this new CD6007 to replace an old Marantz CD65, which I have owned for 36 years, but had started to give random bursts of digital static. I wanted to replace it with a comparable modern player. The CD6007 seemed to be the one to get in my price range. When I unpacked it I was pleased by the weight of the player and its design. However, it is the results that matter. I was amazed to hear extra instruments, extra backing vocals and clearer sound on every CD I put in the new player. I have also played various files from USB (FLAC, ALAC, MP3) and they all sound excellent. I am very pleased with the CD6007 and am slowly working through my CDs listening to them again, as if for the first time!

Arrived within advertised delivery timeline and was well packaged. The sound quality is also fantastic for the price point.
