I love the weight of the leather! It is quite heavy. And the price, about $52.00 is where it should be. The Vest is Taylored in Pakistan. You can't get this quality in US tanned and taylored leather for under $250. I love Pakistani Craftspersons! They make great leather gear, great knives, and deliver the best Himalayan salt! Try this Vest, you will love it! And with Amazon's excellent return policy, you can't go wrong. But in this case, I kept the Vest! Nothing like it on the market as far as I'm concerned. It's a keeper! By the way Amazon, I hope you decide to carry the brown version of this Vest! I'll order one as soon as you do at these prices!

I think the vest is excellent material. It's good all way around but one thing to consider is it has pockets down low so if you plan on getting rocker patches on the sides this I don't think will work. But it's a great vest. Worth every penny!!!!

This is a good motorcycle riding vest for those looking for this type of item. The vest came quickly from the seller and was exactly as described in the description provided in the sellers listing. The vest is actually leather, but is breathable leather so as to NOT be too hot when worn in the direct FL sun. I usually wear a t-shirt and this vest only when riding and feel comfortable and safe. The vest is not too thick, not too hot, not too heavy, and has tons of pockets (2 on the front at the top, 2 on the front at the bottom - left and right side, and a hidden inside pocket for possible concealed carry riders). The vest contains snaps AND a zipper for double protection and double security. The top front pockets also have snaps as well. This makes it extremely convenient when riding as you can easily access the pockets contents when riding with or without gloves on. The only thing that I have issue with is that after a few times wearing the vest I noticed I began to see white threads coming through the leather material. Furthermore, underneath each arm area, there is a piece of trim on the ends of the leather where the sleeves would be that appears to be 10 years old when its like a week old. This material has really self-destructed in only a few times being warn. Overall, for the LOW price of this vest, it is a GREAT deal. I would highly recommend this vest to anyone that wants a riding vest and doesn't want to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Despite the shortcomings noted, I would still recommend this vest and buy it again if needed.

I bought this for my hubbys birthday yesterday and when I tell you it was worth every penny and then some. The fit was perfect. I love the zipper and button closure. Most of all I love how it has the protective plate inside the vest. I wasn’t expecting that. So not only does it make him look scrumptious it’s got that added layer of protection honestly so happy with this buy.

This vest is a good value. It is good quality leather and is nice as far as weight is concerned. it is obviously mass produced and has some minor sewing flaws, most significantly missed fabric on the liner. It is an easy fix that can be done with a needle and thread. Overall the rest of the stiching and seams are good. Straight lines and even spacing. The pockets for wallets etc are great and the zippers are good quality . The "concealed carry" pockets are ample and as long as you size the vest no one will know you are carrying. In the right positions or with a tighter fit the "gun bulge" would probably be visible. That would be the exception rather than the norm.

I was torn between 3 or 4 stars but I went 3 because the description is a bit misleading. While the inside of the vest does have huge pockets on the inside that easy fit my pistol, they are far from "concealed carry pockets". They grabbed the gun and are shaped in a way that makes drawing a hassle because the grip sits face up and canted forward then catches the zipper. Also the zipper on the front is tough use. On to the good stuff, the liner is very comfortable. I love wearing it. The pockets are arranged in a way that makes sewing on patches very easy without having to dismantle the vest. I would have given 4 because all in all its a great vest for the price. But I was expecting to be able to carry with it .

No one could beat the price, shipping was quick and easy and quality seems perfect. I could not be happier with this purchase. I looked at the reviews before purchasing because the cost was so cheap, I wanted to make sure there were no major issues with the product. I noticed a couple of complaints about the smell, saying there was a strong odor. Although my sense of smell diminished a few years back, not sure why, I had my wife who has the sense of smell like a bloodhound and she said, "it smells like a new leather jacket". I'm assuming that she meant that it had the same smell as my first leather jacket I got when I was younger and could still smell like normal. If the smell was really strong and offensive, I would have picked that up but because of my loss, I do not smell anything. My wife is easily grossed out by foul odors and she said that she did not notice anything out of the ordinary. So if any of those other reviews thwarted you from purchasing this vest, I would reconsider. As I stated, the quality feels great, you can't beat the price, so I would jump on it. I'm waiting on my patch which should be in soon, then I'll take some photo's of it. If I remember, I'll repost with the pictures. Along with my sense of smell, my memory has also diminished, so do not get your hopes up on me reposting anything but if I do remember, I will.

i measured and even got a size larger than measured and measured smaller than we discussed. also the shoulders are very stiff with a small arm hole, im hoping with time the leather softens up. overall for the price it is a decent buy and delivery was fast
