Aopparently the original awning motor on my RV decided it was time to retire so I went to trusty ole Amazon and quickly found the right replacement motor. The part was an exact replacement for the original equipment one and it only took about 5 minutes to install it and have the awning back working. I posted a video showing the install and how easy it is for those who may need to replace theirs. Just be certain when replacing the motor, to use something to hold your awning from unrolling because the motor is what holds the awning arms from unfolding. Once installed, the motor runs smoothly and the awning works exactly as it's supposed to. It's just as quiet as the original motor, goes in and out at the same and proper speed as well. I was really pleased and a bit surprised to be able to get one at the price I did because initially, I thought a replacement would be a good bit more than I paid so this was a welcome aspect. If you're needing to replace your awning motor and yours uses this same type, this is a good choice to get. It seems to be well-made, but longevity is yet to be determined. So far though, it's worked great and I'm confident it should last for quite some time. Heck, my camper is a 2023 and I don't use the awnings all that much so I can't say the original one lasted all that long anyway!

Fit and worked perfectly!

This is exactly the same motor as the $300+ one sold with the RV. When I broke my awning on my Rockwood Mini-Lite I went to the dealership where I bought it and was given a $300+ quote for a new motor (Solera). I ended up finding this one for MUCH MUCH less and was a little unsure if it was the same. I took a chance and and it was well worth it. Same motor. An RV repair tech came and installed it and fixed my awning and confirmed it as well. It was easy to install and as far as I could tell it functioned exactly the same as the original. I sold it shortly thereafter so I don't know how long lasting it was but at that price I could buy 4 of them and still be ahead.

Our awning motor went out yesterday, so I immediately started searching for a replacement. I was expecting to pay a lot more, but was pleasantly surprised to find a replacement under $30. I was even more surprised to find that it would be delivered in less than 24 hours. The motor arrived on time and we immediately installed it on our camper awning. Works as it should and was easy to install.

The motor fit perfect with replaced motor very simple to install took about 15 minutes. Make sure you have a locking pliers to clamp on the shaft to keep it from rolling out while you're changing the motor cuz it will freefall otherwise That has nothing to do with the motor itself it's the awning is designed. Also this motor came with two different styles of wire plugins which is great because awnings could have one or the other on this provided both

This was a great replacement and did work until I found out my motor wasn’t bad. It just had a short. I returned it with no issue but debated on keeping it because it was a fast moving motor than the original. Easy to swap out fit perfect.
