First, I did not receive all 10 curlformers BUT I got a very quick response from the company and am expecting the missing curlformers in the mail in a few days time. The hook was delivered today and I wasted no time trying these out. It took about 5 minutes to section off my dry hair and apply my 8 curlformers. I left them in for about 30 minutes (just a little product test) and I had curls - nothing with staying power but I'll be doing a more thorough test of these next week. Really impressed with how easy these were to use and the result. Though, I'm looking forward to using all 10 curlformers so my curls aren't as thick. Hair type: Naturally thick and wavy. I have an undercut (hair shaved on sides and back) so I have considerably less hair to deal with. My hair is about 12 inches from root to tip, and these short curlformers were perfect for my needs. If I weren't planning to cut all my hair off in a couple of weeks I'd order a pack of the long curlformers for future use. Update: After getting my my missing curlformers I tried these out for real! Towel dried hair after my shower, and used them on my damp locks. About 20-30 minutes start to finish with a blast of heat from my blow dryer. My curls stayed all day - 13 hours - and held up in the wind without any product. I do recommend styling each curl as you take off the curlformer, trying to do each one after all your curlformers have been removed is a bit tricky. I'll be doing a run with mouse today to see if it keeps the frizzyness down.

Wow! These worked amazingly well. I wore these overnight on damp hair after applying a root-lift and mousse to each section. There is a learning curve to putting them in but I only had to redo a couple before I got the hang of it. It took about an hour to apply to my entire head. I let my hair air dry over night then hit it with the blow dryer on med/high the next morning before I took them out, to be sure they were dry, but it probably wasn't necessary. The curl lasted all day and I still had a light curl/wave the next day and my hair hair is baby fine and straight and NEVER holds a curl. I would not recommend sleeping in these unless you have to as it was very uncomfortable. Instead, I will probably invest in a bonnet attachment for the blow dryer for the next time I use these. The longest section of my hair (from the top of my head to about an inch past my jaw line) was about an inch too long for the short size but I left more room between my scalp and the curlformer and it turned out fine. I was concerned that the curl from the "corkscrew" type would be too tight but, it came out perfect. I will definitely use these again and again and will be investing in a set for my daughters longer hair also.

My hair doesnt curl, to get curls to stay I have to use a bunch of hair spray. I put these in at night, took them out in the morning and my curls stayed all day, even through an hour long workout. Only downside is that it's not very comfortable to sleep in.

so i got these because i kept hearing how great they were, well they forgot to tell people how they literally rip your hair out. also they forgot to mention not to use them on fine, damaged, bleached or colour treated hair as your hair is fragile and it will literally rip it out of your head! the wand they give is an over sized cheap plastic crocheting needle type that you put your hair in and then while holding it, feed this tube like thing that looks like a flat curling rod over it or should i say that rips your hair into it. They also mention to do this on wet hair and we know while your hair is wet with water you are breaking the bond in your hair to reform it while wet into curls which causes more damage. now you could use something else other than water to dampen your hair but you would still get that drag pull over your hair and the crocheting needle rip from your hair. Which by the way if you have baby fine hair is not the nicest thing to experience in the world, it literally rips your hair out from the scalp. I would suggest if you have baby fine, bleached, colour treated, or damaged hair you stay clear of this!!!! those with thin hair also be very careful with this product. great idea just not implemented correctly. Good on normal hair from what i keep hearing however i am not so sure about that either! after 1 use and some pictures i sent it along to my step daughter, who has thick hair so thick that she was told that no one could color her hair because it would take 4 or more days. Now she has used it also and same issue! it ripped her hair out at the scalp. not user friendly either! even when i explained to her how to do it step by step she still had hair rip out from the curler being dragged over her hair since the band at the end that you have to slide your hair into she said seemed sharp! two bags weren't enough to do her whole hair either. worst part is even when you do get past that part, it takes forever for your hair to dry. my hair didn't dry after 3 hours, hers didn't dry over night and she said she barely got any sleep because sleeping on them were like sleeping on and i will quote her "barbed wire". needless to say after both of us had issues it was thrown away never to torment another person in our family.

Does it work, yes! Am I returning? Also yes! I have curly hair, but my curl pattern has become less consistent over the years. I had hoped that this is something I could have put on in 20-30 mins and let my hair dry naturally over an evening. I do have a lot of hair… but you have to pull such small sections that I ran out before I finished my whole head (even with two packages) and it took such a long time to put in that it would have been quicker and easier to just curl my hair with a curling iron. And with the rubber ends, not only did it pull on my scalp while they were in, it tugged a lot of hairs out as I removed them. If you don’t have curls, want to get some without heat, and already spend a reasonable amount of time on your hair this will likely work for you. But I’m not willing to quadruple the amount of time I spend on my hair post-shower for my curl pattern to be more consistent.

Schnelle Lieferung. Kam 2 Tage früher als angegeben. Gutes Material ohne unangenehmen Geruch, was man ja gerne bei so Plastikteilen hat. Nach ein wenig Übung sind die Curlformers ruckzuck im Haar. Sogar bei kürzeren Haaren. Meine sind im Moment noch zwischen 10 und 15 cm lang. Ich föhne meine Haare etwas vor, so dass sie nur noch leicht feucht sind. Dann lasse ich sie etwa 1 Stunde trocknen und föhne sie dann nochmal für ca. 10 min. Die Locken sind perfekt. Für mal schnell die Haare zu locken ist diese Methode nicht geeignet. Da ist der Lockenstab dann doch die schnellere Methode. Der Artikel ist zwar nicht gerade billig in Anbetracht des Materials, aber es lohnt sich echt. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen.
