Removes the windows glare
Removes the windows glare but i have to press against the windows and most times that doesn't allow you to take the best picture. I now use a polarized lens... dah!

Easy to use.
Works very well on windows, fits every lens I have. it is a little tough to put on bigger lens up to 77 mm but does go on with a little patience. Really does a nice job of cancelling out reflections through windows. It is also well built and good value for the price.

A little fiddely to use
It’s silicone, so its very floppy and a little fiddly to use, but once you get it sorted, there is zero reflection. The only down side is it tends to suction to the glass, which can make zooming in and out difficult, as it prevents the hood from rotating, with the zoom ring or lens. This shouldn’t be an issue with higher-end and larger lenses with internal linear zoom mechanisms.

Nice idea, so-so execution...
Shooting through window glass is to be avoided at all costs -- but sometimes it cannot be helped. Taking photos from a skyscraper observation floor is a good example, store front displays would be another. So having a shade that blocks light reflections on the window surface is a must. A conventional rubber lens hood can work well, but typically you can only use it to shoot straight ahead and not at an angle. That's where this floppy lens hood comes in, and I do mean floppy! Instead of using a conventional set of filter threads, this stretches over the end of your lens like putting on a shower cap. This is a clever design that help keeps the cost low, rather than having to make and stock a set of standard filter size lens threads. So apparently the "ULHgo" featured here is the original, so I assume the others you'll find on Amazon are knockoffs. I thought I would save some money buying the least expensive knockoff, but a review mentioned that light from behind can be seen through the folds of the hood. So I decided I'd pay more for the original to have a higher quality product. Guess what? You can see light through the folds on this hood as well. (See photo.) Now if the interior lighting is relatively dim, and the outdoor is bright, this will not be a problem. But if you are trying to shoot something like a city scape at night from inside of a normally lite interior, this is not going to work if you have to shoot at an angle to the glass, or your lens is wide and is held away from the glass. So bottom line, neat idea, not suitable for all anticipated use cases, and the quality may not be significantly better than the cheaper knockoffs, although it may be more resistant to tearing. In my case, I decided to return it, but it might work out for you. The star ratings are always in relation to the item's intended purpose, type, and durability. 5 stars - The item is perfect with no room for meaningful improvement. The item performs its intended function consistently, and without fail. It also appears to be durable in its manufacture and materials. 4 stars - While not perfect, any imperfections are likely to go unnoticed in normal use. The item should be durable given normal care and handling. 3 stars - The item has significant short comings or limitations, but these do not significantly degrade performance. And/or the item may not be durable if not handled with some degree of care. 2 stars - The item has defects or short comings that compromise performance. And/or the item may be likely to fail prematurely even with careful use. 1 star - The item does not function correctly in any meaningful way or is very difficult or even hazardous to use. And/or the item failed completely with very little use.

Good for taking photos through glass
I wanted to get this to take photos at the zoo through glass so I would not get glare. It works well.

Awesome idea... terrible execution
Useless when you need it to function. Cheap silicone so it is floppy as can be and was of 0 use

Too flimsy.
I have a helicopter sightseeing trip planned and thought this would be perfect for preventing reflections from inside the cabin. Unfortunately, it looks like it would take one set of hands to work the camera and another to hold the hood up against the window. It's just too flimsy to stay against the glass by itself. The hood will stay extended if the camera is pointed straight down, but once it is rotated 90°, like you will do to hold it up against a window, the hood will collapse. I thought about trying to stiffen up the hood with electricians tape, but then I couldn't return it if it didn't work. So I'm just going to return it.

Work as advertised
The product needs a rigid ring as it is too floppy near the edges.

First of all, the item itself is top notch. Well made, fits lenses perfectly, doesn't leak lite. So if you are looking for a similar thing - think no more. But I tried it several time on different occasions and I have to admit it just useless. And it's not because the item is low quality, it's just the whole idea of this kind of shade is useless. But, once again, if you think you need one - this item is great on it's own.

It's a very good idea and works quite well. But it is difficult stretch the hood over a 72mm lens, never mind 82mm! You couldn't possibly do it with one hand. Also the hood is a bit too loose and floppy, so it can be slightly awkward to position it such the the edges are sealed all the way round.

The idea is a good one; a ginormous hood you can use to block out reflections when photographing through windows, or into fishtanks, etc. But in order to accomplish that, the front of the hood either needs to be stiff enough to support itself, or needs to rely upon suction to stick to the surface. It does neither. The hood is intentionally floppy to make it easy to pack away, so the front of the hood isn't stiff. However, any suction effect requires the window/fishtank/glass and the front of the hood to be perfectly clean, and for the hood to make a perfect seal around the lens. This isn't really possible in real-world scenarios. Worse, if the hood is intended to rely upon suction, that also requires the air inside the hood to be completely clean, with no risk of any dust. If there is any dust trapped in the hood, then depending on the lens design and where the hood is attached, its possible that dust could be forced into the lens itself, never to escape. So in short, its a great idea, but there are too many factors to make it viable.
